Rockaway Beach house rentals

Wonderful in all aspects: superb views, well stocked kitchen, quiet, private, and very responsive host. The only potential issue for someone is the broken elevator situation. There are 24 stairs to get to this unit, so be aware of that if stairs are difficult for you.

This is the best place to just wind down and relax.

We super enjoyed our 3 overnight stay. Started off with straightforward house instructions, the house had everything we needed including really nice extras for our dog! The yard was wonderful, there were towels, treats, baggies, dishes, & even a XLarge crate upstairs! The extra touches didnt stop there. We loved the Christmas decor, the comfy beds, clean bathrooms (w/ all the necessities incase you forgot yours), and overall a really clean & quiet house. Would definitely stay again! Thank you so much guys for providing such a beautiful peaceful place. Happy holidays everyone!

We stayed at Cracker Box Palace over the Thanksgiving Holiday and it was really lovely. The location is perfect - literally across the street from the beach and because of an unbuilt lot across the street you have ocean views. Sunsets were spectacular. The house was spotless and had enough cleaning supplies to keep it clean! We also had ample dishes to make Thanksgiving dinner. We slept comfortably and peacefully and really loved the built in bed in the primary bedroom - it was so quiet! We also don’t know what the owners did - but we had bright sunny 50 degree days everyday (a treat on the coast this time of year.) Everything was as advertised - don’t hesitate to rent here. Restaurant and Adventure Tips: The Indian Food Truck is just a mile from the house - if you are looking for takeout go there! Kelly’s Brighton Marina & Campground for Crabbing (or let someone else do it and just buy the crab) - it’s a must do experience. If you are heading north to Astoria - you must try the fish and chips at Bowpicker. Enjoy!

This was our second time staying here and it was perfect. It rained most of the visit, but we literally spent hours sitting in the sunroom, watching the ocean. So relaxing. The house is perfectly situated, is clean and comfortable and and has everything you need.
