Isle of Palms house rentals

Though the house is small, it has mighty attractions... It has the old beach charm, something that is lost today with the mega-mansions. We loved the outdoors; we played whiffle ball, softball,corn hole and star gazed. The house is not fancy but honestly we felt like we had won the lottery with the proximity to the beach, great outdoor space and a smallish living quarters; which is exactly what we are used to at our own home. We would gladly return... Thank you for your family's story and opening up your home to your "extended VRBO" family.

Lovely place, small but had everything we needed to eat breakfast in. Bed was comfy, but pillows were not. (I always bring my own.) amenities were pretty impressive with a large, unheated pool, a hot tub, and a golf cart at your disposal. The best feature was its location within walking distance to restaurants and a grocery store. Lovely neighborhood. We recommend the Sea Buscuit, Coconut Joe’s and farther afield, the Wreck of Richard and Charlotteand, farther afield

Beautiful home with great laylout for family. Just a few short blocks to the beach, but they have a golf cart if you don't want to walk. Great communication with host. Very clean. WIll happily return on our next trip to IoP!

1st time staying at IOP we usually are in and around the Charleston area and wanted a new location for the 4th. Glenn’s place was perfection with young kids. Right on the beach and pool access for day and night swims ( bonus for our kiddos). Walkable to spots and most importantly the condo was clean and had so many extra things things that if I forgot something it’s was already provided. Loved being able to watch fireworks right off the balcony also! We will be back for sure! Thanks for sharing your place!!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay; great place for our family & toddler to “headquarters” while in the area for our nephew’s wedding. Best-stocked VRBO we’ve rented and very responsive owner to various update requests prior to arrival and to any questions we had during our stay. Great pool & beach access ~ would definitely stay again😊

An attractive, tidy, functional little house with multi-million dollar views. You can see water from virtually every window in the house, including sunrise from your bed. The expansive view from the living room is amazing. And if you open both bedroom doors and get the full ocean panorama from one end of the house to the other, the effect is STUNNING. It's like being on an ocean liner. So close to the beach that you can easily take multiple walks on the strand through the course of the day. Sitting inside and all of a sudden you realize that there's a beautiful sunset going on? Just pop out the back and you on the beach, in awe, in about one minute. Literally. What a luxury! Truth be told, however, the living room furniture needs to be rethought. It's new and attractive but not great quality and quite small. Even two people will find it difficult to have a sprawled-all-over-the-couch-with-feet-propped-up-in-front-of-Netflix experience in the evening. So that's a minus. But if you want to really commune with the ocean, up close and personal, this is the place for you.

8 of us who have been friends since kindergarten celebrated our 75th birthdays together in this VRBO. It was perfect. Lots of room, many bedrooms and bathrooms, and an Elevator!! It was perfect!
