Sturbridge lake rentals

We had a wonderful time. The cottage was super clean and exactly as advertised. The view of the lake from the front slider was beautiful. The water was very clean and we went swimming and kayaking every day. The sandy beach made it very easy to get into the water. Our Golden Retriever, Sunny, loved swimming and chasing the minnows by the shore. We enjoyed the local restaurants and.the seafood at the Maine Attraction was great.. We wished we could have stayed longer and plan to come back again next summer.

I booked this property for two nights. It was extremely clean, well lit and Gwen had some relaxing music on when I arrived. Absolutely beautiful and perfect as I had just had 2 plus hrs of traffic to get there.The kitchen is just perfect for the space allowed. Bedrooms (2) also just right. Bathroom was clean and well stocked. I really liked the small details such as : hair dryer, small bar soaps, bath soaps/salts, lots of tools for the kitchen, blankets and pillows that were clean, smelled great, fridge was clean, range was clean, silverware clean etc. Electrical features were all on a smart system and easy to use. The property was super clean and just right for a quiet stay. ParkingAll in all it was comfortable and cozy and Gwen was an excellent host who sent check-in info when asked as well as recommended places to get provisions and a meal. Thx so much Gwen. I’ll be back at the next Motorsport event!

Check in was straightforward and easy. Nikki very generously offered dry goods and food from the pantry and fridge. The view was magnificent from the master bedroom and living room and her couch was so comfy that I actually slept on it one night. Walking the property and taking a dip in the water recharged my batteries for my upcoming final exams at University. It was quiet enough during my stay to admire the singing of various birds. I played music and did yoga from her TV while gazing at the water. The peace and serenity derived from doing so was cathartic. Without getting too personal in the details, I was able to meditate and spiritually heal from troubles in my past by simply admiring the view and her gorgeous landscape painting in the living room. I’m so blessed to have been Nikki’s guest and the value that I received from my trip at her property is immeasurable.

Great location for visit with family. All on one level but plenty of room. Fenced in yard great for dog &privacy. Neighbors friendly. Host very responsive &clearly cares about guests’ comfort.

I can’t even begin to say how incredible this property was. We held our wedding weekend here and it was just stunning. Glen the property manager was always a step ahead of us and eager to help. I couldn’t be happier.

Our stay at the lake property was very relaxing. The lake was pristine and nice to swim and walk in. Everything about the yard was great, from the seating, to the soft, squishy grass and landscaping. Plus the outdoor floating toys, row boat and paddle boat made it so fun! We just loved it! The home had all we needed to be comfortable and the space was just perfect. It was especially nice to have a laundry on site and also a gas grill! We would definitely stay here again. Also a plus was having a friendly host who was very accommodating. We had a wonderful time at the lake home!

Absolutely, 100% pleased with our stay. It's a beautiful private retreat. Truly needed nothing but clothing, food & drink. Everything else is supplied. The lake is peaceful and quiet and loaded with fish. Our last day in the (provided) canoe my wife landed a 6 and a half pound largemouth and we caught numerous other fish as well. Definitely recommend both the Ashford Dairy Bar and Buck's Ice Cream (in Woodstock) for those who share my belief that a vacation isn't a vacation without soft-serve ice cream! We truly enjoyed our stay at Mimi's place! The cottage was exactly as listed. We loved the open layout plan in the cottage as well as the lovely decor. We especially loved the amazing view from the cottage! It was so serene, beautiful, quiet, peaceful and just what we were looking for! The owner of the cottage, Noelle was so nice, responsive and communicative. The manual left in the cottage was informative and helpful as well! The neighbors nearby were so friendly and welcoming, even the deers we spotted on our walks around the lake! We truly appreciated all the amenities that Noelle has thoughtfully left for us in the cottage to use along with the fully stocked kitchen! She had even thought of our dog by providing a dog bed, dog towels, dog blankets and even a dog run for the yard! We felt absolutely comfortable in and out of the cottage and could've easily stayed for longer! We did not plan to go out anywhere other than that area, so we can't recommend any restaurants or things to do nearby. However, we can honestly say that you wouldn't need anything else but the cottage, garden, and the lake! We cooked our meals in the cottage everyday, kayaked on the lake, read a book on the hammock, sat by the dock or the firepit and enjoyed our cocktails and even enjoyed listening to a record on the record player that they provided for us in the cottage! We have to say this was one of the best property we had stayed in so far! It's certainly a piece of heaven on earth! Book this now!
