Find lake rentals near Catskill Mountains

We had a wonderful 2 month stay in this private oasis. Cabin in very good condition and David the owner made sure Everything was just right. Surrounded by nature and close to Phoenicia Near hiking trails and short drive to Woodstock and Kingston.

Lily Cottage is a sweet little gem!! This was first getaway as a family of three (4mo old daughter) and our beloved pup (20lb mini schnauzer!) Lily Cottage was the perfect cozy cottage to getaway for a long weekend. It had everything we needed (kitchen supplies, etc. to make a meal and a washer and dryer! (essential for a baby). The bedroom is able to accommodate a small pack and play or you could arrange it in the living space as well. Our dog also loved the small yard to get some zoomies out. Great location and short distance to Woodstock (great day trip to explore and walk around) and ample hiking trails including the Ashokan Reservoir- it was lovely.The owner, Jim, is very kind, friendly and helpful! We experienced some car trouble while we were out and I called him to ask about nearby mechanics/ tow trucks. He was eager to help and even offered to come pick us up! Luckily, our car issues quickly resolved, but he was there when we got back and helped us further. Just a wonderful, genuine individual. We had such a great time and are looking forward to returning later this summer for more hiking!

We had a wonderful stay at this idyllic guesthouse. We had everything we needed for a peaceful and relaxing weekend. Harvey was a great host and even gifted us a bag of coffee beans he’d freshly roasted himself. He made himself available but definitely let us have our privacy. It was a snowy weekend and we loved lighting the wood stove and just watching the snow fall over the mountains outside our window. Such a beautiful place and we can’t wait to return!

Gorgeous house. Wonderful hosts. Spectacular views. Zero stress. Fantastic location. My family and I stayed here for three months and made memories of a lifetime. We can’t wait to return.

The Loft is cozy, clean, quiet retreat nestled in the Catskills. As the photos indicate, the bathroom is next level, quite nice. Other features we liked included the ample closet space, the access to the Tanbark hiking trailhead a minute's walk away, and being right in downtown Phoenicia, so there were a few restaurants, a market, and some other stores all within a few minutes walk. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

The property was beautifully kept and the barn was cozy. We enjoyed the hot tub every day and the wildlife was spectacular. I would highly recommend staying here.

We enjoyed the house immensely, just as described, very warm and comfortable. So much to do, we brought our bikes so took advantage of the bike trails. We stayed 2 weeks to we spent time in the town of Phoenicia as well as time in surrounding towns, attended a local theater production as well as a music venue in Woodstock and of course went to Bethel woods, site of Woodstock 1969! Met lots of nice people and Amy was an excellent host, informing us of events and things to do in the area…including the rubber duck race! Just an over all good experience.

A great stay. Cabin was clean as a whistle. First time staying in the summer. Nice to open the windows and listen to the stream at night. Short drive to Woodstock and Phonecia for dinner. Did some great hiking at Bellayre and Ashokan.
