Lake Lure lake rentals

Yes the lake was closed and off limits but that meant nobody else was using it so it was nice and quiet. Serene and relaxing. Just what we wanted. Talk about unobstructed views. This place has got one killer view! And if you can't swim in the lake or use it, you better be able to look at it

We truly enjoyed getting away for a few days to relax and spend time together. The host was more than gracious and very helpful before and during our stay. We even enjoyed cinnamon rolls left in fridge for us!

The property manager was very prompt with answering questions about the properties surrounding areas. The main room is adorned with plush furnishings in earthy tones. A stone fireplace stands as the heart of Bearfoot Cabin, its mantle adorned with treasured mementos. The back deck stretches gracefully from the rustic cabin nestled among the towering old growth trees. Each plank, expertly and lovingly placed, the sign of true craftsmanship. Make sure to enjoy a morning coffee or afternoon cocktail out back watching the squirrels jump tree to tree.

Place was immaculate! Had all the utensils needed to cook so didn’t have to spend for dining. Loved being able to kayak around the lake!!

Wonderful place, quiet, restful and scenic. The host are wonderful and very welcoming. The modern home we stayed in was awesome and everything the pictures show. The kayak was so much fun to take in the water and sitting on the dock reading was great. I also did a couple of canon balls in the lake off the dock . My husband and I felt blessed to be there. Our mini vacation was the best !!We will stay again for longer next time.

Nice property! Location is great and we even got a couple 4 pound bass from the lake. Will stay again.

We loved our Christmas time stay at Anchors Aweigh! The location and view are beautiful, and the house was well equipped and cozy. Both Mara and Eric were extremely gracious and helpful. We also appreciated the cleanliness of the whole house and extras like the new high-quality towels. The house has recently been renovated and includes beautiful wood flooring, updated bathrooms, and a great outdoor area including decks and a boathouse. I couldn’t help dreaming about how fantastic a visit would be in a warm weather season when we would be able to have loads of fun in the water. We are very much looking forward to that experience!
