Alexandria lake rentals

Our stay was awesome. Convenient to Airport, DC, & Arlington Cemetery. Also, a cute coffeehouse (soon wine) had just opened up across the street. Very good coffee & breakfast items. King street was very entertaining. We spent cocktail hours & dinners there. Our Host, Vat, was amazing. The house is adorable. Perfect for our family of four. And the parking was most convenient with its own private driveway.

I chose this house because it is located around the corner from a beloved apartment that I lived in years ago. Old Town will always feel like home to me and I enjoyed spending a milestone birthday sharing those memories with my family. This lovely little gem is a historic home so it has some quirks like narrow stairs, creaks, and rattles, but that adds to its charm. The location is unbeatable for everything - shopping, restaurants, metro, waterfront, people-watching. It's street parking but it's not an issue because a parking pass is provided as needed. We found a spot right in front and didn't get back into our car until we left. It's nicely maintained, very clean, and super cozy. It was a little tight in terms of sleeping arrangements for 2 adults and 2 teens, but we made do and everyone was very comfortable. The owners were responsive, generous, and kind. We couldn't speak more highly of them, the house, or our stay. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us! We hope to enjoy it again in the near future.

I stayed three nights with my significant other and my mom (age 91). This small cottage was well-maintained, fully functional and beautifully decorated in the Colonial style. Everything was very clean. The communications with the hosts were excellent, clear, well-written instructions and quick responsiveness. The mattresses were super comfortable, however, we found we needed to use a step stool to get in and out of the beds as they are high above the floor. All in all, an excellent experience.

Perfect for two, spacious, kitchen with everything you need, comfortable bed and nicely decorated throughout. Patrick has done a great job setting this place up for a very comfortable stay. Really impressed with his great communication. The neighborhood very quiet, plenty of parking, well kept and safe, walking distance to the little downtown area. The apartment has many windows, which is wonderful for light, but also the window treatments provided a nice sleeping environment, which is huge for us! Can't say enough about this place!
