  • Relaxing

"We enjoyed our two-night stay here. It was very relaxing sitting outside on the balcony patio area listening to the ocean and watching the fireworks. The reason for the 4-star review is when we cooked breakfast - eggs and sausage - we found that the frying pans were so old that they were warped and black. And the owner should note that there is no blow dryer for hair. If I'd known that I would have brought my own. Oh well...I know for next time. And the screen in the kitchen window needs to be secured so that bugs/mosquitos cannot come in. Overall, the condo is clean and it has a great view. We plan on returning."

  • Best way to wake up in the morning!

"This house was exactly what we were looking for...spacious, clean, well maintained and an unbeatable view from the large balcony. There was a bit of an ant problem but we kept the place really clean and it wasn't a problem. It is also close to the beach access and has plenty of parking. Rob is really easy to communicate with and always responded promptly to our emails."

  • Excellent all around

"As an adult family group, full of artists and travelers, we loved everything about the house -- the architectural elements, colors, & collection of diverse items that embellish the home. We also enjoyed the beautiful back patio & garden, grassy front yard and the VIEW --- and sounds of the ocean that set the tone for our whole stay. Magnificent!! All the space(s) worked out perfectly for our family, including our Lab dog, Basil (thank you for welcoming him along with our stay), he was a happy guy there. Great dining options are very close by in Primo Tapia for traditional, local Mexican food that we love and were craving. Many more options a few more minutes away in Rosarito. Valle de Guadalupe is within easy 1 hr reach for more gourmet dining & wine tasting, which we also enjoyed. We all relished our time at Casa Sandcastle, and hope to stay again. Muchisimas gracias,"

"Great convenient location with due privacy and plenty of open room to enjoy the beautiful ocean...and very SAFE location. A nice getaway just to relax and not far from the U.S. border."
