  • We had a splendid time!!!

"My son is in a wheelchair and it helped a lot that they have wheelchair access everywhere, It's a beautiful unit right across from the pool. And if you like to BBQ there are 4 large grills in a private park like area provided with tables and chairs with immediate access to the beach. They also have a large pool, 2 Jacuzzis as well as kid's pool and play ground for them. A block away you have the main boulevard and lots of shopping and eating establishments in which I highly Los Pelicanos wonderful service, food and a great sea view. We're making plans to visit again. can't wait!!! Highly recommend it!!!!! Eduardo Saavedra, Anaheim Ca."

  • Amazing Property!!!

"This property was amazing!! The House was part of a series of 4-5 houses located right on the ocean with a couple of large condo towers at the rear, one of which was still in the building process. The unit was very quiet, and decorated beautifully! The entire complex was empty during our stay, which meant that we were able to have all of the amenities to our selfs. This included the pool and Jacuzzi right in front of the unit, as well as the community indoor olympic size pool, the outdoor infinity pools and jacuzzi too. Also there are tennis courts, steam rooms, saunas and a gym. Literally NO ONE else was there. We did end up staying in a different unit than the one that was pictured on VRBO, but it worked out for the best, as the unit we stayed in was even better than the one in the pictures. The only minor issue we had, was the jacuzzi takes quite a while to heat up, because it is heated with an electric heater. The friendly area maintenance man did turn it on for us and had it warm for an evening dip. Each bedroom had its own bathroom and walk-in closet. Everything was very clean, and decorated very nicely. Trash when set on the curb was disposed of promptly. And the maintenance man was present a few times a day, if you needed anything. During our stay we stopped by the local fishing village on our way down and bought some fresh lobster and crab right off the panga's for the first nights dinner. Also we went to a near by restaurant called Splash for dinner. We had fresh oysters, calamari and a wonderful dinner. The calamari is a must! On the way out of splash we noticed that they have a bar upstairs, we went for one drink and ended up on the dance floor a few hours later. We met many new people and had a wonderful time, and probably one too many drinks! I own furnished corporate apartments in the States, and understand many of the small issues that can be had when a tenant come to stay for a short time in a new place. We had absolutely no issues what so ever. I read a comment on here about a previous tenant having a reaction to the pool chemicals. Funny, we just so happened to be traveling with a relative who owns their own pool cleaning business, and they assured me that everything was very well kept. Some times people just get over dramatic on these reviews."

  • Susie and Jim Worthing Minneapolis, MN

"Ann and Dick could not have been more gracious with their beautiful apartment perched above the rolling surf. From the fully equipped kitchen to the most comfortable King-sized bed we have ever slept in, everything is ready for a relaxing stay. Treat yourself to fine dinning just down the street at Mi Casa Supper Club, or play a round at the 'Pebble Beach' like Bajamar Golf Club just a short drive down the coast. Or just stay in for appointment viewing of the sunset from the large balcony. It all waits for you at San Antonio del Mar."
