  • Great beach getaway!

"Views of the sunrise and sunset were great from the beach, which is right outside the door from this place. Sliding glass doors that face the sea from the master suite and from living and dining areas make you feel like you are outside even when you are not. Though there is no A/C, the breezes keep the interior very comfortable. The temps were in the 80s during the day and cool at night, and we lived in swimming trunks and bathing suits to take advantage of the beach. Spent our days walking the beach, swimming, kayaking when the sea was calm, and reading on the patio. We mostly ate at the house, as the kitchen is well equipped and local fish, avocados and limes were plentiful. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

  • Amazing vacation where the desert meets the sea

"This was our second trip to Cabo Pulmo (came for diving) and we fell in love. For this trip, we decided to stay a little further from town because we had explored the area of Los Frailes on our prior trip. We love nature and adventure so being on our own pristine and 'private' beach was fantastic! The east cape landscape is phenomenal. The sunrise and sunsets were amazing. The casita was very comfortable and well-appointed. Ruben, the caretaker is there on-site for anything you might need. The town is a short drive away...good restaurants serving fresh and delicious seafood (pretty much all we ate) and the people are very warm and friendly. If you want a relaxing beachfront vacation that feels like a real escape, this it it! We'll be back in the spring."

  • A Wildlife Paradise!

"What a delightful find and a marvellous introduction to Cabo Pulmo National Park. We rented the whole enchilada and well worth it in every way. Based in La Paz with a three day break in Cabo Pulmo. Arranged booking from UK & Janning the owner so prompt and accommodating with our request. Loved the Santana music as backdrop to U Tube property advert! The drive down from La Paz was good and no problem with dirt roaIt as you hit C.P. Wonderful wildlife en route. Spectacular scenery all around the property and so private and peaceful. Karl had an airport run so he left everything just perfect for us and we met up later. The Mexican artistry in main casa is amazing with interesting books to read from art to surfing. Looking at build plans one can see it has been a labour of love by the owners. Off grid: big fridge and all mod cons. Just bring food and drink- although La Cabellera Cantina opposite has extra large water containers for sale - useful as weather absolutely roasting. It was the only one of two open at the time as very few tourists. Food was delicious and plentiful with friendly staff. My casita was well equally stocked and did not want for anything.Bed was most comfy! I kept all the windows open at night as insect screens in place. Felt very safe - no need for locks here. My daughter & partner soon got used to their new bedfellows: giant owl butterflies and a bat that demised on the outside wall! We spent hours watching and photographing the birds with Karl topping up the Hummingbird water bottles and bringing bird seed. Red Cardinals/ / Mexican Jays / Cactus Wrens/ varieties of Hummingbirds / Greater Roadrunners / Crested Caracaras / Hooded Orioles / Flickers and woodpeckers were amazing. The Hummingbirds have big personalities and were remarkably used to humans. Those tiny feet!! The beach is near but steep with huge waves at the time. I'd researched best snorkelling spots and Los Arbolitos about 15 mins away was truly wonderful. Swam right out and amazing coral and fish variety. Safe and easy access into sea. Busy at weekends with local families - quieter in the week. Even when busy it's light years from English beaches re: amount of people! Beach towels : parasol & chairs provided with cooler. The roof top main casa offers panoramic view of the hills behind and sea in front: fantastic sunrises and sunsets. Minimal mozzies as too hot. If you want a taste of paradise even for a few nights you won't regret booking up!"

"This was by far the most relaxing and pampered vacation I have ever been on!!! We were a group of 22 ranging in age from 18-65 with all levels of interest and degrees of activities. The staff was absolutely amazing! They, in 7 too short days, now feel like family to us. It was truly hard to leave, not only to say good bye ( or more like see you again!) this private peaceful paradise but our new friends on staff. The meals were delicious ...3 authentic Mexican meals everyday..cooked to perfection, right there in the big commercial grade kitchen. We all would wait for "the bell" to go off and scamper in to see what was our next feast.. You will not go hungry on this vacation! Did I mention the desserts yet? WOW..Recipes, please! They were very accommodating working around some early and late schedules, fishing trips, trips to Cabo, etc. The pictures of Rincon really do not do it justice...when we all walked in, our jaws drops and you could hear a quiet, breath taking picturesque..the fountain, the pool and straight ahead the white sand and blue waters of The Sea of Cortez. The Inn is very remote but very secure and the remoteness of it is part of the magic..private pool, private beach, private chef...11 bedrooms with baths, lots of lounge chairs with big comfy towels, lots of floaties, kayaks and shady spots for those who want to get out of the hot Baja rays..speaking of RAYS, several mornings we woke up to greet the sun and have coffee and would watch the manta rays jump and play right out front. I could go on and on about this wonderful place called the Inn at Rincon!.closing comments... WE CAN NOT WAIT TO RETURN!! Thank you to all who work so hard to make this place so special."
