  • Couldn't Have Asked For Better

"We were so fortunate to have found Casa Tortuga for our trip to Mexico to celebrate my daughter's 21st Birthday. The house was well stocked, adorably decorated and in great repair. With two master suites, one upstairs and one downstairs plus lots of extra space to spread out, we were positive that we were unlikely to have booked a better spot for our long weekend celebration. With close proximity to several shops, Walmart and restaurants, it was easy to plan for many meals at home. The patio and outdoor grill made hanging by the pool a delight. While the house advertises room for 10, I think a group of six adults and maybe some kids would fit nicely in this home. Cab rides to downtown were about $20 USD for four of us, and the staff and the front gate were always very helpful assisting us with getting rides where we needed to go. We will definitely be back!"

  • As advertised! Lovely Villa, very clean. A real family villa!

"We had a wonderful time at this villa. The views are beautiful (esp from the upstairs Master Suite)! We had a group of 6 adults and 1 child, there was more than enough space for all of us, indoors and outdoors. The weather was incredible and we did several trips into San Jose to the Mega (grocery store) for supplies / food. We couldn't believe how reasonable the prices were for food / wine! We walked to the Mega (about 15 mins one way) and would taxi home. The taxis are in the parking lot, so it's very convenient to catch a ride home - it should cost you about 75-100 pesos....we were hosed the first day! We also ventured to some of the recommended eateries that Henry and Martha provided. We went to Sardina's Cantina and Habanero's. The food was excellent. Our daughter swam with the dolphins and it was such a lovely experience for her. The day we chose to go was rather slow and she was the only child - she had a private dolphin swim for 30 mins - such a great memory for her! All in all, this is a great villa. The trip into Cabo San Lucas was about 25 mins and 600 pesos (one way). After reflecting a bit, I think our group would rent a car next time, but that being said, it is certainly not a requirement to enjoy your time here. Henry and Martha were wonderful hosts, we will definitely be back!"

  • The only place I want to stay in Cabo

"This is a beautiful, clean, and comfortable condo. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook, the beds and couches are very comfortable, and the Smart TVs allowed us to watch Netflix while there. We enjoyed the view of the ocean from the beautiful patio and comfortable patio furniture. The staff at La Estancia are friendly, helpful, and courteous and were quick to help with anything we needed. It's an easy walk or short cab ride to town, although we spent most of our time enjoying the beach. We will be back!"
