  • Unplugged in Cabo

"While this is our first time renting with Last Hurrah vacation rentals, we have stayed at the Playa Grande Ridge facility 7 other times. Renting through Tim was easy and more importantly legitimate. The process went smooth and no surprises. The unit is spacious and plenty of bathrooms. Our family gathers at this location to enjoy each other and completely unplug. We love lounging at the infinity pool. It's easy and safe to walk into town from this location day and night and many activities nearby. Water taxis are available to take you to the arch or the Mango deck or the Office. No rental car is needed and "all inclusive" meal plan is available but not necessary at all."

  • Wonderful resort and location

"We spent 2 lovely weeks in Bob Morrin's time share at Playa Grande in Cabo San Lucas. The unit in the Ridges, was spacious, well appointed and well kept. We enjoyed our view out over the harbor and city from our veranda. The resort has all the amenities, spa, gym, several pools and hot tubs, restaurants, even a small store. We hiked up Mt. Solmar and enjoyed an all day trip into the mts. to a waterfall and pool to Fox Canyon. The snorkel 2 beaches and kayak trip was also super. You can take a cheap city bus to San Jose del Cabo for $2. It was air conditioned and comfortable and the driver told us where we needed to get out. The staff and concierge was truly helpful in arranging our tours and confirming flights, etc. You also don't have to worry about the water, you can drink it everywhere. We will definitely return to this fabulous place again."

  • Nice property in private, safe, gated community; great customer service by owner Monty

"We had issues when we first arrived because the property management had not prepared the unit, despite Monty's notifying them in advance. We also had issues when we departed because property management charged us $17.50/day for service fees and union tips (?), despite Monty's reminding them that they should not be charging those fees. All that was quickly resolved thanks to Monty's very responsive efforts...he also lots of helpful recommendations about the area and he answered our questions promptly and accurately. The condo was (finally) very clean and everything worked as advertised. The king bed mattress was comfortable enough and the air conditioning units operated quietly and efficiently. There is a limited beach view, but the beach is an easy five minute stroll. The marina is about 10 minutes away. While the Terrasol condos are in between two monster resorts, we rarely heard or saw any of those visitors; the beach area has very few folks strolling around. One reason for so few humans is that the beach is on the Pacific side and swimming is not allowed because of the strong surf. Another reason is that the clean sand is soft and deep, which is a challenge for regular strolling, but provides a good workout for legs and cardio. We visit Cabo a couple times each year, and rent a car so we can travel north to Todos Santos and their enormous and empty (!) beaches, and so we can visit the beautiful beaches along the corridor between the airport (San Jose) and Cabo. I'm not sure how long those beaches will stay pristine, since there are multiple condos and resorts being constructed in the best of those beach areas. We are planning our next trip and hope to return to Monty's condo if scheduling allows."

  • Well appointed unit in a beautiful resort

"This unit was everything promised and the owner was readily available to ensure that everything was in order when we booked. We greatly enjoyed our stay and loved the unit's view overlooking the marina. The suite is well maintained and the kitchen has the basic items needed to cook. Overall the resort is first rate from the location close to town to the numerous pools and landscaped grounds we will definitely consider staying here again. Everyone we met at The Ridge at Playa Grande was friendly and the majority of people have made Playa Grande their Cabo destination year after year. The downside to overlooking the marina is that this unit also overlooks a busy traffic circle that serves as a main bus stop. From early morning to late night there is a constant stream of buses stopping and starting on the street below this unit. You can't hear the noise inside when the patio door is closed but it is very present on the patio. Though to avoid the noise you can just relocate to one of the pools!"
