  • We have enjoyed every stay over the years.

"Great resort! The new Market area is open and will sort itself out over time. Enjoyed using all inclusive too. Activities group at Main Pool needs some guidance."

  • Montecristo 2017

"My wife and I brought 2 couples to the Montecristo. Each couple stayed for 4 days of our 8 day stay. This trip was our 4th time staying at the Montecristo, and the 1st for each of our friends. The villas are truly amazing for a place to stay on a vacation. The villas are designed with a master bedroom on the 1st floor along with an amzing master bath with a huge walkin closet. Also on the main floor is a living room, dinning room with 6 chairs and a kitchen with 4 bar chairs. You have a 40 foot balcony with a hottub, table and 4 chairs, 2 lounge chairs, and an outdoor grill. The bottom floor has another master bedroom w/king bed, a 3rd bedroom w/ 2 queen beds, a living room, and a laundry room w/ washer/dryer/iron/ironing board. On this floor, you walk out the sliding glass doors onto another 40 foot patio with your own infinity pool (approx. 8-25ft), with 2 more lounge chairs and 4 very comfortable cushioned chairs. Truly, your own little paradise. The Montecristo has its own full gym with 3 treadmills, 3 ellipticals(Spelling ?), and 2 bikes, and plenty of weight machines and dumbells. Everything is working and spotless. They have a spa there that has a great steamroom. My wife went everyday and said nobody else was there. She enjoyed that. There is also a community pool with a bar/restaurant serving breakfast/lunch. Now for the fun part. Montecristo is part of the Bonita family of resorts in Cabo, and you have FREE access to them ALL. The Pacifica is located on the beach below MC and is an adult only resort which means a little quiet. You can you everthing there free, gym chairs, towels, etc. You can even charge your food and drink to your MC villa so nyou never have to carry cash. They also have the Sunset Beach resort lower down the hill from MC. Kid friendly with lots of pools. There are 2 more resorts on Mendano Beach downtown, the Blanco and the Rose which can be reached by using the free shuttle buses and you can charge everything there to your Villa. So much to do and so many places to relax, but there's nothing like coming back to your villa at the end of a day and take that last dip in your own infinity pool. Now, Mr Childs who we rented from is first rate. He took care of our rental and provided us with useful info on restaurants(some we hadn't been to yet like Romeo & Julieta) that was amazing. Everything was perfect from checkin to checkout. This resort really prides itself on getting things right. You will be amazed. Enjoy!"

  • Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach

"Pueblo Bonito Sunset is a wonderful place; it's a little bit of heaven out on the side of a mountain at the tip of the baja. We've owned a unit and gone there for 10 years. This year was our most important trip of all. My immediate family (my husband and I, my kids/their spouses, and my grandchildren) had never been there. What is more important to a mom/grandma than an perfect family vacation. The problem, we own a 2 bedroom presidential suite, and we needed 3 bedrooms. Thus we rented a 1 bedroom super executive villa. Working with the owner was great. Yes, we knew the resort, but bringing a family was a different experience. What to do with young children, teenagers, getting them there. The villa was superb. Large balcony up on the hill, in the same building our kids stayed. Many pools, teen and kids club, the new "Market", great food and variety for all, at a very reasonable price. We had several great excursions. One of the best was going to Pueblo Bonito Rose (their sister property), which had other benefits, including great beach, pool, ability to rent wave runners. Jeff was professional, and his recommendations were great. He was easy to contact, and he followed through on everything right away. Of course we'll go there again. When we need additional space, renting from Jeff is a given. Thank You Jean B."

  • Really Awesome Villa!

"We absolutely loved staying at this Villa. David, the owner of the Villa, had great communication with me prior to the trip so I felt comfortable that we had all of the information we needed before arriving. The unit is absolutely beautiful. The views are stunning. One afternoon we saw a very active whale in the distance. The resorts personal concierge, Raul, greeted us shortly after we checked in and he made sure we had his contact information and instructions on our options to getting around the Pueblo Bonito Resorts, ordering groceries, catching cabs, shuttles, fishing excursion plans, etc. Every time we had questions or needed assistance with something Raul immediately responded. Our party consisted of 4 adults and two recently high school graduated young men. Everyone was so happy with the space and ability to have private rooms with great bathrooms and closets. Most of our days were spent in the Villa infinity pool just enjoying the sounds of the waves hitting the shore. The graduates were all over between our place, the other resort pools and downtown. We chose to take taxis into town verses the shuttles because we aren't very patient. The shuttles are a good option if you are just staying close by and going to Pueblo's Sunset or Pacifica resorts. If going downtown I would recommend calling for taxi which is between $14-$20 dollars one way, depending on number of passengers. So you should consider if renting a car is more convenient. We don't like driving there so the cab money and Browns Transportation Service was worth it to us. The housekeepers were there everyday and took great care of us. It is not always the same employees providing services so make sure you have tipping cash available to show your appreciation. If you want a more quiet vacation with private pool, hot tub and ability to go downtown on your terms then this is fantastic option."
