  • Perfection! Beachfront, Cabo, Sunset Beach, Christmas and New Years Week

"My husband and I brought our two adult children (18 and 20) and two of their friends to this resort and condo for vacation. There was plenty of room. My husband and I used the master and the kids all stayed in the second bedroom which had two queen beds. We were able to have a roll-away bed brought in as well - as the boys didn't want to share a queen. There were additional sleeping options if needed in the living room, but we wanted to keep the living area open as shared space. The condo is clean, in great condition, and well furnished. We were going to cook our own food, through a stop at Walmart, but at the last minute decided to buy the all inclusive. Although it was pricey, we were glad that we did this as it required us to do much less scheduled planning and coordinating. The location of this specific condo is beyond amazing. Upon arrival, we felt like we had hit the jackpot! It is one of the best condos in the resort for location with direct access to the beach and a large ocean-front patio. Many nights we left the door open to hear the crashing of the waves. It is also near a pool, tennis courts, and food. Golf cart transportation is easily available to transport you throughout the resort. We used the workout facilities daily. This resort is built into a cliff and there is a lot of uphill walking if you choose, we enjoyed working this into our daily workouts. The resort staff was friendly and did a good job. We found the food at the resort to be decent, and it allowed our kids to sample a lot of different cuisines, which is easy to do without risk on the all inclusive plan. We went into town one day, the resort transports you free by bus to sister resorts, and going to the bar Monkey Business in town is a must! The best margaritas ever! The beach at the sister resort in town was more commercial, with much more activity and you could get into the water. We prefered the quieter beach at our condo. The owner of this condo listing was BEYOND helpful. At first, I was nervous to rent from VRBO. The owner provided everything we needed and more. He was easily accessible by phone, email, and text. We visited multiple times before our visit, and he checked on us during our stay. In my opinion, he was the perfect host, and I only hope our family is fortunate to visit this exact condo again. Perfection! I wish I had space to write more. Don't hesitate to rent from this owner."

  • Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach

"Awesome resort! Went for one week, will go for two next time. The staff is great, the suites are awesome. We were right on the beach! The shuttles to sister properties are easy to use and their airport transportation was also great. Jeff was helpful and informative."

  • Great rental! Very pleased.

"An excellent rental experience. Owner was always prompt with responding to any questions I had or information I needed. He gave some great tips on taxis and how best to utilize the resort. Penthouse was great. Please note that the exact unit is not specified, only that you are guaranteed a penthouse (there are nine on the property). Everyone has a fantastic view of the ocean. Ours was closer to the main lobby which meant we did have a small, unobtrusive parking lot view on one side of our unit (the other side was all ocean view as I mentioned). Initially, I was concerned, however, there is very little traffic going in or out of it (and it's quite small and landscaped in such a way that I soon forgot completely about it.) It ended up being a good spot for us as well as everything we used (fitness center, concierge, spa as well as main pool and poolside restaurant) was all a reasonable distance away. I see some reviews mentioning going all-inclusive- I'm sure some people may like the service but the owner himself suggested that we might actually prefer going into town for meals since there is so much good food in Cabo. I took his advice and I'm glad I did! The resort food was not nearly as good as our meals out. Please don't take this as a slight against the resort- I loved it- but let's face it- food is always better outside of ANY resort- Pueblo Bonito or anywhere. ) To be fair, I live in SF- and so I'm really picky about food. Some people may like the resort food- however "foodies" of any stripe (healthnuts, people with allergies, vegetarians, food snobs) will not love the restaurants on the property- excluding La Frida which is their signature restaurant. Staff was EXCELLENT. So kind, helpful and prompt. Concierge had great suggestions. I did not have one negative experience with anyone working there. It was a pleasure dealing with everyone. Pools were beautiful, clean and the pool staff was prompt with drinks, menus, food (strangely- my best experience with resort food was the pool service! For snack food (fries, nachos, tacos etc) it was pretty decent. All in all a great experience. The final tip the owner gave me was to tip in cash (not on credit, or putting the tip on the room bill). A great reminder! Who knows how much of the credit tips go to staff and tipping in cash was always appreciated."
