A great vacation!
"This was my second stay in Carol's unit. It truly is one of the best spots in Cabo! Carol had everything I needed to make myself at home...full kitchen, dishes, plenty of towels, including beach towels for the pool and a large selection of books that I enjoyed reading on the patio in the evening. Each patio has a beautiful view and I spent many days walking the beach and enjoying the pool. The marina with great restaurants was a short walk away and I took the bus into town a few times for groceries )breakfast and snacks). As a solo traveler I felt very safe in the gated complex. I can't wait to come back!"

"The spacious condo was exactly as owner Cilla described. It's in a gated, private area that's quite safe. It's also an easy stroll to the beach and to the marina. The condo units are between monster resorts, Playa Grande and Grand Solmar, but there wasn't much noise coming from either location. There also was very little human presence on the clean, attractive beach, maybe because it's on the Pacific side and not suitable for swimming. It was suitable for strolling, which we did every day. Cilla was very responsive to my inquiries and the rental pricing was good, especially since she did not add tax or cleaning fees or deposit or other misc fees. Parking there is $5/day.
I do recommend a car rental (now about $3 per day...but insurance is about $40/day). I also recommend traveling to Todos Santos and dining at a side cafe, and from there driving north and west to the enormous beaches that are virtually deserted!! There are also a number of terrific, must-see beaches in the corridor between Cabo and San Jose. Consider driving to Tobasco Beach (ask Google Maps), parking in the sand lot for 20 pesos, and enjoying massages ($30 for 70 min) and renting a kayak for an easy ride to Lover's Beach and then walking to Divorce Beach. Remember that everything's negotiable with Nacho and his crew, especially if you do package deals (like both massage and kayak rental). Be sure to eat at the local Tobasco cafe, where you'll enjoy large servings of very fresh food that is very low priced, compared to the big adjacent hotels. It's also a good place for watching all the goofy Americans with very red skin.
We had a great vacation, and appreciate all of Cilla's help. Yeah, we're coming back."

"We loved the spacious en suite rooms and the quiet beach with crashing waves. There's no swimming on the beach but it's fun to watch the surf. The pool is nice and convenient.
We were frustrated daily by the lack of basic consumables in the condo: salt, pepper, dish washer soap, no charcoal or lighter for the grill, not even a pencil or pen to use. There's an oven but no oven- safe dishes to use in it.
If you plan to cook, you will need to supply everything.
We did get a next day reply from the owner when I emailed him but just to say he is unable to keep the condo stocked with basics.
If you want lots of room & a peaceful beach and don't plan to do much in the kitchen, this is a good location and price for a spacious condo."

"We had such an a great vacation at this condo! We could watch the sunrise from the comfortable bed and the stingrays jumping out of the water from the balcony. We had everything we needed. The staff was very friendly including Mario in the restaurant which also had great food. The marina and fun bars are only a 5 - 10 min walk but we spent most of our time on the private beautiful beach. Its also worth the hike over the rocks to get to Divorce/lovers beach (they are not private and you will have vendors try and sell you things). This was our first trip to Cabo and we will definitely be back and hopefully staying at this same condo again - you cant beat it!"
