  • Magical family bonding with amazing views!

"I spent hours upon hours researching every possible destination and accommodations for this trip. I wanted something special to celebrate my dad's retirement, a birthday, and kids going off to college. Wow, did this unit and location meet my expectations. I was a little concerned as the owner only takes cash, so I did lots of due diligence and found out he is very legitimate. This has to be one of the nicest places I have stayed. It is right on the best beach area of Cabo. You can go back and forth from beach to pool which we did. I wanted a unit with the best views to really wow my dad and trust me he spent most of his time on the balcony taking in the views. We spent hours there mornings and evenings enjoying family time. The place is almost 2000 square feetand had plenty of space for 8. We loved the large table for us to play card games and puzzles. The central area between the two rooms was really great for family bonding The staff are 5 star here. We lost a cell phone on a taxi and can you believe they hunted down the taxi and found it for us. They carried chairs down to the beach so we would have them. They answered my tons of questions prior to arrival with pleasure. So amazing. We felt spoiled for 5 days. You can walk to all the water sports within 5 minutes and within 15 minutes walk the beach for dinner or just stay right at the resort. You have use of the two sister hotels on either side of Estancia. Taco bar was superb next door as was the brunch over looking the arches out on the deck. Can't say enough great things about this resort and room 1304. The little grocery store on site is a bit pricey so make a trip to Walmart. It is close enough and is 9 dollars each way. Pretty much any taxi ride is 9 dollars each way weather to the Marina or to Walmart."

  • Exceeded expectations for first trip to Cabo

"Great experience from initial contact through check out. Property is beautiful, spacious and well kept: Feels like home. View and location is fantastic, with easy access to pool, beach, town center, and Costco and Walmart. Villa staff are pleasant and accommodating, although there is a sales pitch for their next door time share that you can't seem to avoid. Curt was very responsive and very helpful. Can't recommend this place highly enough for your trip to Cabo."

  • Fantastic Property!

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely return! The owner was easy to work with and recommended a limo/transfer service that was great. The condo unit was very spacious, clean, and nicely furnished. It was perfect for our family of two adults and four teens, there was plenty of room for all of us and the master bedroom and bath was very spacious and private. There's a huge patio with great views of the ocean. House cleaning came every other day which worked out very well. The only thing I would suggest is that the kitchen could use a larger trash can. The resort was beautiful! The pool was very nice, not crowed and the service from the staff was great. Nice gym facility onsite and the Desert Spa next door was amazing! The resort is located directly on one of the few swimmable beaches in Cabo. The ocean waves were a little strong at times but still swimmable. We went into town or walked down the beach for dinner most nights but did eat a couple of lunches at the pool area and the food was good. We just preferred to venture out and experience more of Cabo. Overall, we would highly recommend this resort and renting from this owner."

  • WOW! Truly a 5-star experience - Part III

"For Walmart, and town – just walk right outside the resort. There are local buses every 10 minutes or so…. 3 lines, but each of them go to Walmart first and then to town before they do their full 1.5 hour loops. My 3 year old and I did the full loop once for fun. VERY bouncy so not for the queasy – and you need to be pretty adventurous because you go way out to the rural poor areas – but if you really want to see some non-tourist parts of Mexico, it’s an experience. You’ll need to take a taxi back/stand is right outside Walmart (or walk back from town which we did a few times --- just walk right by McDonald’s – yes you can never get too far away from “America” in tourist-Mexico! Fair is 12 pesos – or you pay with a $1 bill. Yes it bounces like crazy --- but it’s a 5 minute adventure. Walmart has EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING. Stock up and enjoy. They also sell Wine and Alcohol. There is a huge spirits store in the same complex – think “BevMo” with lots of selection --- and a nice food court with about 8 restaurants. We ate there a few times as part of our shopping – pretty much the best deal we found and delicious! We even came back to the Sushi restaurant (Koi Sushi) – which was recommended – and VERY good actually with really good prices too! You can walk into town and the Marina – along the road --- or the beach – but’s it a pretty good distance. Bus (see above) or taxi is better option. Also outside the property is an amazing bakery with cinnamon rolls. You’ll find another kiosk from this bakery just outside Walmart (pretzel rolls, etc.) but for the cinnamon, you have to go the main one. The Marina has high end shopping, lots of U.S. chain restaurants and shops like Haagen Daas, etc. and lots of great Mexican food. If you want to have fish therapy/fish pedicure, do it at the Paradiso Mall in the center court – it’s half the price of the Villa del Arco spa – but DO go into that spa and check it out --- wow – it’s supposedly the largest in Latin America and is just beautiful. Treatments are overpriced, but when in Rome…. When in town, go over and watch the cruise ships arrive and all the day tour operators jocky for business. Cacophony of craziness! Book a sport fishing charter, Scuba (or SNUBA which we did with my 7 year old who loved it) or Sea Trek which will be back operating soon/the area on the sea floor needed time for sand to rebuild after the Hurricane), swim with dolphins, ..."
