  • Nice Home, A Few Minor Hiccups

"Home was well maintained, clean and staff was friendly and helpful. Our comments as a group: Great location in the corridor. Close to town, Costco, Home Depot and public beaches. The Restaurant Viejo next door is Top Shelf. We had dinner there twice and if you catch the Cuban night there is great dancing to boot. Views on rooftop bar are spectacular. The home is in a gated community, but take note you will have to leave some identification at the gate coming in. We really enjoyed the bar downstairs and hot tub and pool area. Also the SONOS sound system was perfect for us as I have the same set up at home and I was able to download the bluetooth and rock. WiFi and DISH Network worked great, and local calls to the US were no charge. Home was equipped with boogey boards and we added a cooler for the beach trips. We did suggest that there be a map of the beach below us. It was difficult to find but nice place to snorkel and kid friendly. The houses down towards the beach are very nice. Christina is up above that a little and there are a couple houses that seem dark and uninhabited close by. There was also a dog that barked in the middle of the night right next to us twice, and many dogs that barked in the morning as people got up and let them out, especially Saturday. One home improvement would be a staircase from the upstairs kitchen to the lower pool area. You must walk to the back of the home to find stairs that take you lower. The pictures also suggested a roof top sunning area, but it is really located outside the upper floor. Maybe we got confused. All told, Mexico is great to visit and the people are more than happy to make sure you have a great time. Cabo is growing but it is still easy to get into great restaurants or bars on the beach. If you haven't been to Mexico, Cabo is a great place to start."

  • Outstanding home for a holiday

"Casa Rincon delivered in spades! It was everything our family expected and more for our home away from home in Cabo San Lucas. We had plenty of space, loved the pool and the view was spectacular. Lyn was great to work with and our family had a great trip. Can't wait to do it again!!"

  • I WANT TO COME BACK!

"My wife and I loved it. The place was in great shape. Nobody to bother us with daily cleaning, as it is not needed. Fair price for the beauty from the balcony, and more! The locals were all nice, even the ones we met far from the condo. I have nothing bad to say, great in every way! Thank you Nancy and John - we will be back!"

  • Most relaxing trip ever!

"Our first trip to Cabo, and my husband and I were looking for a place to decompress and spend some kid-free time together. I loved the pictures of this condo and the description of this place as NOT being the place to go if you were looking for wild partying. We couldn't have been happier with this choice! I just don't think the pictures do the place justice. We arrived in the afternoon and Bob had already been to the condo to open the sliders to let in the breeze, and stock the fridge with some cold waters and cervezas to welcome us. And we felt very welcomed! Once we arrived it was very hard to think of any reasons to leave. The view is spectacular, the kitchen well stocked and the bed was super comfortable. Bob and Lynn have thought of everything! We knew immediately that this was a place we would return to. I don't know if it was the timing but it was VERY quiet while we were there. The only other humans we heard were the gardeners occasionally. We slept great and found a way to "squeeze in" naps every day :) Some notes: - We weren't sure if we'd need a car or not but in the end decided to get one and we were glad we did. You don't HAVE to have one but it does give you some freedom to get around. We rented from BBB Rentals and were extremely happy with them. Check them out, they were great to work with - We stopped at Walmart the day we arrived and picked up some basic groceries and we will do the same next time. Walmart is not too far from the condo. We also used the ATM there to change some money to pesos - If you want to eat at Sunset da MonaLisa get your reservations way in advance! We couldn't get in for prime time while we were there, but we did go to the bar and that was pretty awesome too - We loved Tacos Gardenias in town so much we ate there 3 times. Great tacos and ceviche and very reasonably priced. http://www.tacosgardenias.com - We went out for 2 nice dinners- one at Puerta Vieja up the road from Misiones, and one on Medano Beach at Hacienda Cocina & Cantina. Both were great, but Hacienda was worth the trip to see the beautiful grounds. - We did the walk along the beach into town to eat breakfast at Mango deck on our last day. It is a challenging walk (I'm sure my husband will forgive me some day) with a beautiful view the whole time. I recommend wearing some good athletic sandals as you'll be climbing some rocks. We loved this place! Thanks, Bob & Lynn!"
