  • Most relaxing trip ever!

"Our first trip to Cabo, and my husband and I were looking for a place to decompress and spend some kid-free time together. I loved the pictures of this condo and the description of this place as NOT being the place to go if you were looking for wild partying. We couldn't have been happier with this choice! I just don't think the pictures do the place justice. We arrived in the afternoon and Bob had already been to the condo to open the sliders to let in the breeze, and stock the fridge with some cold waters and cervezas to welcome us. And we felt very welcomed! Once we arrived it was very hard to think of any reasons to leave. The view is spectacular, the kitchen well stocked and the bed was super comfortable. Bob and Lynn have thought of everything! We knew immediately that this was a place we would return to. I don't know if it was the timing but it was VERY quiet while we were there. The only other humans we heard were the gardeners occasionally. We slept great and found a way to "squeeze in" naps every day :) Some notes: - We weren't sure if we'd need a car or not but in the end decided to get one and we were glad we did. You don't HAVE to have one but it does give you some freedom to get around. We rented from BBB Rentals and were extremely happy with them. Check them out, they were great to work with - We stopped at Walmart the day we arrived and picked up some basic groceries and we will do the same next time. Walmart is not too far from the condo. We also used the ATM there to change some money to pesos - If you want to eat at Sunset da MonaLisa get your reservations way in advance! We couldn't get in for prime time while we were there, but we did go to the bar and that was pretty awesome too - We loved Tacos Gardenias in town so much we ate there 3 times. Great tacos and ceviche and very reasonably priced. http://www.tacosgardenias.com - We went out for 2 nice dinners- one at Puerta Vieja up the road from Misiones, and one on Medano Beach at Hacienda Cocina & Cantina. Both were great, but Hacienda was worth the trip to see the beautiful grounds. - We did the walk along the beach into town to eat breakfast at Mango deck on our last day. It is a challenging walk (I'm sure my husband will forgive me some day) with a beautiful view the whole time. I recommend wearing some good athletic sandals as you'll be climbing some rocks. We loved this place! Thanks, Bob & Lynn!"

  • Perfect

"Martha and Jeff were wonderful to deal with regardless of my late booking. The apartment was better than described and the views were nothing short of spectacular! That deck....... I will definitely be returning!"

  • fantastic place!

"We loved our stay at Sirena Del Mar (Welker Resort). The resort is very nice, but not very big, so the feeling is very relaxing. It has all the standard features of a big resort (swim up bar, music in the evening...) but without the crowds. The unit was fantastic as well, overlooking the beautiful beach. And the beach is probably the best part. It is immediately out of the unit, and is calm enough for swimming, plus there is good snorkeling on either side of the cove. And because it is impossible to get to unless you are staying in one of the few resorts immediately on the beach, it is never crowded. We will definitely come back to this resort, and this specific rental, again in the future."

  • Great unit, location and complex

"Had an amazing time in this unit. It is located in the corridor and close to both San Jose Del Cabo as well as Cabo San Lucas. The unit at Casa Del Mar was spotless with incredible views and access to many pools and immaculate grounds. The owner Joe was accessible and responsive and easy to contact and work with. There is a restaurant on site that was just reopening but we walked out to the beach and just to the left and ate at Las Ventanas which was incredibly romantic and had amazing food and service. If you are a surfer, the three main surf breaks in Cabo, Old Mans, La Roca "The Rock", and Zippers are just 5 minutes away with great waves, amazing water, and great vibes. Great unit, great location and friendly staff om grounds! We will stay here again and again on future trips to Cabo!"
