  • Most relaxing trip ever!

"Our first trip to Cabo, and my husband and I were looking for a place to decompress and spend some kid-free time together. I loved the pictures of this condo and the description of this place as NOT being the place to go if you were looking for wild partying. We couldn't have been happier with this choice! I just don't think the pictures do the place justice. We arrived in the afternoon and Bob had already been to the condo to open the sliders to let in the breeze, and stock the fridge with some cold waters and cervezas to welcome us. And we felt very welcomed! Once we arrived it was very hard to think of any reasons to leave. The view is spectacular, the kitchen well stocked and the bed was super comfortable. Bob and Lynn have thought of everything! We knew immediately that this was a place we would return to. I don't know if it was the timing but it was VERY quiet while we were there. The only other humans we heard were the gardeners occasionally. We slept great and found a way to "squeeze in" naps every day :) Some notes: - We weren't sure if we'd need a car or not but in the end decided to get one and we were glad we did. You don't HAVE to have one but it does give you some freedom to get around. We rented from BBB Rentals and were extremely happy with them. Check them out, they were great to work with - We stopped at Walmart the day we arrived and picked up some basic groceries and we will do the same next time. Walmart is not too far from the condo. We also used the ATM there to change some money to pesos - If you want to eat at Sunset da MonaLisa get your reservations way in advance! We couldn't get in for prime time while we were there, but we did go to the bar and that was pretty awesome too - We loved Tacos Gardenias in town so much we ate there 3 times. Great tacos and ceviche and very reasonably priced. http://www.tacosgardenias.com - We went out for 2 nice dinners- one at Puerta Vieja up the road from Misiones, and one on Medano Beach at Hacienda Cocina & Cantina. Both were great, but Hacienda was worth the trip to see the beautiful grounds. - We did the walk along the beach into town to eat breakfast at Mango deck on our last day. It is a challenging walk (I'm sure my husband will forgive me some day) with a beautiful view the whole time. I recommend wearing some good athletic sandals as you'll be climbing some rocks. We loved this place! Thanks, Bob & Lynn!"

  • First Time in Cabo

"This home is absolutely beautiful. Greg, the owner was there when we arrived and made sure we had everything we needed. He also offered to take us to the store to pickup groceries and even helped us unload them. Groundskeepers work daily making sure everything stays beautiful. Pepe at the swim up bar makes awesome drinks and his shrimp tacos are delicious. Kristen, who works for his property management company was extremely helpful making sure we had transportation and activities planned. We can't thank her enough. Taxi's were readily available and provided great service. I would recommend this place to anyone. We stayed 5 days, and we can't wait to go back. :) Kenny and Tammi - Texas"

  • Simply Wonderful

"We had a wonderful 6 day stay at Misiones Del Cabo in Mike's condo. The condo has plenty of space and everything is just as pictured. The furniture was comfy and the wifi worked great. I cooked a few times in the kitchen and found everything I needed in the cabinets. The rooms have plenty of storage for clothing and the bathrooms are spacious. The washer and dryer were used quite a bit to dry pool towels and wash clothing. Knowing there was a washer/dryer allowed us to pack less clothing which was great. The stairs (about 60 steps) up to the condo are killer diller.. but by the end of the week we were pretty used to them.. A very nice gentleman at the gate helped lug all of our bags up the stairs which was a very nice surprise. The pool bar was closed for most of our stay.. it only opened up on the last two days we were there.. and the snack bar at the pool never did open to make the tacos we had read so much about. But that was okay.. the place was so quiet.. sometimes (most times) we were the only ones in the pool.. either of the pools. We did rent a car at the airport (**). That made it very nice for venturing out and about. We went to WalMart several times and to the Mall.. We drove to Todos Santos to have lunch at the Hotel California. Places we ate: Villa Serena, Sunset Pizza and Wine Bar, Common Table, Infusion Bistro.. all were very good.. In fact.. the seared tuna at Villa Serena was so good we went there twice. We rented Waverunners from SeaCabo which was a blast. Went snorkeling from the private beach below Misiones (bring flippers, mask and snorkel and you will be able to get out past the strong breaks).. Everyone there is super nice and helpful. The power did go out on our last day but we spent our morning packing and then floating in the pool until it was time to leave. We travel a lot and the power goes out all the time in most places we have been in Mexico.. All in all we would definitely go back to Mike's condo at Misiones.. I can't believe we have never been to Cabo before.. it is such a quick flight from San Diego.. We will, for sure, be back. ** The big name rental agencies want to charge you a FORTUNE to rent a car .. with all the insurance and taxes, etc. Dominic is the ONLY way to go in renting a car in Cabo.. $300 cash.. full tank of gas.. all inclusive.. he meets you in the parking lot.. and you drop off in the same lot. easy peasy http://www.dominicloscabos.com/index.htm"

  • A wonderful getaway

"We can't say enough good things about our stay in this condo! From walking into an impeccably clean environment to Lori's consideration of letting us stay later into the afternoon as we flew out at 5pm, everything was so enjoyable. The view was lovely, the pool so clean and well maintained and the great little restaurant with the best fish tacos we have ever eaten, was a hit. There were plenty of towels and beach gear and easy access to a wonderful snorkelling beach, and a nice hike over to a long stunning beach with virtually no one one it. If you are not a walker the hill up to catch the bus might be a bit much, but there were always taxis available and a great little shop with great prices right next door."
