  • A great combination of privacy and access, with an amazing view

"If you are planning a trip to Cabo, then this is a great option for accommodations. We have stayed in resorts and villas for years, but this was a unique blend of the two. The resorts are great for access to restaurants and amazing pools, but the rooms are small and privacy is just okay. Villa's are great for privacy and access to your own kitchen, but you are on your own for activities. The villa at Montecristo is spacious and the pool is great. The temperature in ours was upper 80's, so refreshing, but warm for morning swimming too. The view is awesome and it is easy to get lost in the view while in the pool, so use your sun block. We also spent time at the Sunset and Rose resorts for pool and beach cabana access, so the combination was awesome. Food at the resort restaurants was good, but the recommendations that Robert provided for places in town were spot on. Here are a couple of tips: 1. We rented a car for the week and didn't need it. $500 down the drain. One of the other guests gave a great suggestion. Avis has an office at the resort. He rented for one day (from the airport) for $25.00 and turned it is at Montecristo. He then rented again for the day on the trek back. Shuttle service is solid and taxi's are reasonable and fast. 2. Our concierge (Adrian), was amazing. He helped with setting up activities and reservations. He even got us into a restaurant that was full when we called. He was uncannily timely and super attentive. Make good use of your concierge and tip well. They deserve it! 3. We had some breezy nights and the villa is not built to be weather proof. The banging of the sliding glass doors in the first night woke me up, but then it was fine. 4. The kitchen is spacious and has good appliances, but there weren't many useful utensils. We made do, but I should have bought a knife at Wal-Mart. 5. For activities- the zip line tour with Cabo-Ventures as awesome. It includes rock climbing and repelling. the big zip-line is a mile long and you hit 60 mph. A must-do, but it takes all day. Thanks for the awesome stay Robert. We will be renting again!"

  • Wonderful stay at villa in Medano beach area

"My husband and I stayed here with our four adult kids for week and loved it! It was a perfect combination of staying at a villa and a resort. The Villa is beautiful and the resort amenities (pool, restaurant, spa, etc) were comparable to any of the top resorts in the area. The beach in front of the property was not crowded, and the resort staff was there every day to set up chairs, umbrellas and anything else we wanted. Unlike some other areas in Cabo, you can swim in the ocean at Medano beach which we love. The location is great. We walked or took a short cab ride to many great restaurants. The bars, clubs and shops are all nearby. We also took a dinner cruise and were able to walk to the pier to catch the boat. It was a little noisy at times, particularly in the evening but well worth it to be close to downtown. The private concierge that was included with our Cabo Villas booking was fabulous. He helped us book restaurants, ATV rides, and the dinner cruise. He also set up all the transportation we needed."

  • Perfect set up!

"This unit is beyond fabulous! The views are spectacular and the property was very, very nice. We have four teenaged kids and the Villa allowed everyone to have a good amount of space while at the same time being together under one roof. The owners were extremely helpful and gave us great advice on the property and restaurants in the area. They made the whole trip planning extremely easy. I would definitely return to Villa #2 and this property. Highly recommend."

  • Excellent Trip

"I arrived at Villa La Estancia after having a leg in a cast after a car accident. I was able to go to all the properties within the Villas, Estancia, Arco and Palmer, on a knee scooter, traveling on the sidewalk that connected all three. Although there was no beach access for the handicapped, the view was amazingl from every pools and hot tub. The staff was very friendly with their “yes I can” pins which they lived up to. All restaurants where accessible except for the pirate ship at Villa del Arco pool which had steps on both sides. The Villa was great and had all the accommodations that one would expect, it was also nice being on the ground floor while being in a leg cast. It was great having a swim up bar with seats to relax after getting into the pool. I will return after getting healed up and able to walk down the lovely Medano Beach."
