  • Great value

"Just returned from my second stay in this unit and am signing up again for this winter. A great place for singles, couples and or families. Five minute two block walk to the most popular beaches and about the same to the Marina and down town. After a day it's like being at home. Entire staff and security are friendly and very helpful. You just feel safe and secure there. You can catch a bus from the corner to Costco or Walmart for about a buck. Bus stop two blocks away to San Jose Cabo for $2.50. Pool is set up nicely with a full service outdoor restaurant bar and recreation room. The unit itself is most spacious for a one bedroom. New A/C in both rooms and new TV in living room. Kitchen is fully equipped and functions well. A great value here and Karen is very accommodating to work with. I have explored the city and cannot think of a better central location I would rather be."

  • Property was exactly as described. Excellent room, enormois comfortable bed, 10 paces from the pool

"My first experience using Home & Away and I must say it was perfect. The owners are incredibly responsive and their agents, Arturo and Roberto in Mexico couldn't have been nicer and more accommodating. They were also incredibly punctual with email communication which I really appreciated. Roberto met us on arrival, brought a new coffee machine and answered any questions we had, he made us feel extremely welcome. The room was spacious with everything we needed In the kitchen as well. Great fridge and freezer, nice flat TV, great bed, lovely private area to sit outside in the evenings and just a few steps and you jump into a lovely swimming pool (if you don't like swimming pools with too much chlorine you'll love this one). Only thing I would caution are the built in sofa beds, they are effectively single bed width, OK for kids but probably not ideal for adults who move in their sleep. The Bahia resort itself is very pleasant and clean, friendly and helpful staff, a great restaurant, particulay in the evenings, and a great location, just a 'stones throw' from the beautiful Medano beach and the Marina area. I would highly recommend this to anyone."

  • Good family vacation location

"We stayed in a second floor unit suitable for up to 6 people (king, double and a set of bunk beds). The beds were solid with good linens and the two bathrooms had plenty of towels. The unit was clean and looked as pictured. The kitchen had all the cooking tools needed with plenty of plates and cutlery. There were a couple of maintenance issues with our unit, but Ginny was actively working on getting them solved. Ginny took excellent care of us from start to finish and I hope to use her services in the future! She also prearranged (including payment) of our transportation to and from the airport; a great relief to us during our planning. There are two elevators, making life much easier for my mom who has a hard time on stairs. There is ramp from the street level to the reception area, but it is gated and locked most of the time. There is a wheelchair available most of the time, luggage storage in the reception area, a mini store, ATM machine, and spa. Excellent food and friendly staff at the poolside bar and grill. This is an excellent facility for families. Easy walking distance to the ocean and a number of good places to eat."

  • Everything was perfect

"We just spent 6 days at this beautiful villa and resort! From the stocked kitchen and bathroom supplies to the comfortable beds the villa was perfect. We really liked the pantry having some extra items to share and we left many extras for the next person. The afternoon shade was the Best on the balcony as we enjoyed appetizers there every evening before heading out to dinner. The resort was beautiful, SAFE, quiet and very well maintained. You won't find anyone rowdy or any kind of trouble at all. The bell hops were awesome and very attentive. The only negative thing we had was the bartenders we're not very friendly or attentive.. It Might have just been our week but when we travel to Mexico we usually have fun at the Swim up Bar meeting the bartenders.. It was also a bummer to not have a Bar out of the pool we could enjoy an evening drink by the ocean.. Not a big deal just something they might consider adding to the resort! Other then that it was a Perfect Vacation. We had 4 teens (19,19,16,15) with us and they now prefer Mexico over Maui.. Thank you for the dinner recommendations. We really enjoyed this trip and plan to be back and stay at Villa 3708 again!!"
