  • Excellent Vacation

"We stayed in this unit this past week (November 11-19th). This is our third time to Paraiso del Mar and this was our favorite trip yet. This unit was exactly what we needed. The unit itself was amazing. It had a beautiful view, the accommodations were perfect. Very comfortable bed, kitchen was superb. and had all the necessary tools/utensils that we need. The grill outside was in great condition and we used it. The Wi-Fi was very fast, the cable was great (these things are important to us, lol). La Paz is our favorite place to visit. It has amazing food, some of the best we've ever had. My husband enjoyed golfing there as well. Thanks again!"

  • Golf trip for 4!

"The condo was great. Lots of room for 4. The outside facilities were fantastic! The pool and hot tub could have been a little warmer, but after a round of golf both were great. The Survivor Bar met all your needs for food and drinks. Couldn't ask for better treatment from the staff. The golf course is well laid out to challenge any golfer, but is fun to play. The greens are in excellent shape! Looking forward to playing the course again. Marco and his assistant Maria treated us with the utmost respect and professionalism! Chewy, the chef at the restaurant and bar, provides tasty food and great drinks! We are looking forward to visiting again."

  • Loved it!

"We arrived into La Paz mid-afternoon on New Years Day. We met the 'contact' for the house, Antonio, at his Gelato shop near the Malacon. A short drive away was this villa. As others have stated, the curb appeal may leave a bit to be desired. However, once you enter the courtyard, you will be amazed at the quality of this Villa. We rented the villa with two families - 4 adults and 3 teenagers. One couple enjoyed the 'main house' which is in the back of the property. This has the spacious and well-laid out kitchen, the living room, a huge bedroom and bathroom. The other couple enjoyed the spacious upstairs suite, which had its own private staircase entry. Again, a good size bedroom and large bathroom. One of the boys stayed in the lower room, with a bathroom he could use across the courtyard, while two other boys enjoyed the separate apartment, which had two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large living/kitchen area and its own balcony. So we ultimately had five bedrooms in use, and each bedroom had access to its own bathroom. The villa was VERY comfortable. We really enjoyed the huge open courtyard, with a private pool, several comfy sitting areas, two covered sitting areas, and a tangerine tree that provided us with our daily dose of fresh fruit. We cooked several meals in the well-appointed kitchen, and used the gas grill in the courtyard. The LEY grocery store was located a short two blocks away and had absolutely everything we could have wanted, all at very reasonable prices. We had two cars, so we parked one in the protected garage, and the other directly in front of the villa, on the street. We considered it a safe area. The wi-fi worked great, and they even had SKY television in the lounge, although we really didn't watch TV. We particularly loved how they decorated the villa, and we appreciate the excellent style. While in La Paz, we took advantage of the whale shark snorkeling, we went fishing (about a 1 hour drive away, took a day trip to Todos Santos, and enjoyed walking around and exploring. There are only two complaints that we had: there was a bad smell in the living area of the apartment; and please note that the villa is located directly next to a museum, which had some traditional Mexican dance lessons going on - the music and foot stomping was loud, but usually over by 9pm. If you are looking for a private home, away from any crass tourism and in a fun, local neighborhood, this is your kind of place. We highly recommend it."

  • So much fun

"My husband and I stayed at Romy and Leo's wonderful little resort for a week in February, 2016. Our little bungalow studio was very comfortable and the attached palapa was a great place to eat our breakfast and enjoy happy hour with our neighbors. We went kyaaking with Scotty and Romy and found some beautiful private beaches. The location is a good walk to the malcon and close to restaurants and food shopping. Leo took us on a tour in his boat and we saw a grey whale, sea turtles and Dolphins. We loved our stay at the Oasis !"
