  • Beautiul community, love the Kayaks and beautiful decor of Cambia's place.

"Pictures do not do this community justice. The grounds and casita were gorgeous. Flowers and birds surrounded every building. My family used the kayaks whenever we wanted as Gorge gave us the paddles when we spoke to him the first day. The palapas on the beach were a perfect shady spot and the water was calm and perfect temperature for swimming and boating. We had the amazing cinnamon rolls and coffee drinks at the funky Cafe Corazon on the main road. All the people were friendly, mostly Canadians and Californians who vacation or live there part time. The security guards and other staff spoke English and tolerated my broken Spanish and were so kind and accommodating. I felt safe and pampered the whole time. Cambia's casita is well decorated, up to date, very clean, and has everything we could need for our stay. The beds were dreamy, the towels were ample and the kitchen gadgets were of all varieties. The bikes and inflatable rafts were great to use. She was very helpful from the start to finish and I would rent from her again in a heartbeat. It is a very short walk to the beach and in a nice private courtyard. The upper patio grill was great for stargazing and night dining. We went into Loreto proper and loved the pretty and historic courthouse and center square with a variety of places to sit outside and have happy hour or dinner, shop or grab ice cream. Must do- charter a panga boat ride to Coronado island. We saw dolphins, sea lions, manta rays, a rare blue-footed boobie, starfish, and (unfortunately) jellyfish. (Other boaters came to our assistance with white vinegar and Benadryl pills and cream for the jelly sting.) The island was straight from a post card with white sand beach and teal water. Highly recommend the restaurant Fonda Canipole where the chef Sofia greeted us with 'welcome to my home' and treated us as if we had just stepped into her private kitchen. The vacation was great. Cambria's place was fabulous and a welcome comfort to come home to at the end of a long day. I highly recommend this casita for a great vacation."

  • A treasured gem!

"Where to begin? Lynn greeted us with homemade mango jam from the trees on the property. She graciously showed us around and made us feel right at home. Randy and Lynn have a gem of a place and what a ideal location! We had the use of bicycles and snorkeling gear. The pool is refreshingly delightful and the Sea of Cortez is just a stones throw away. Our unit was perfect, it was clean, the kitchen well stocked and we had use of wifi. We even had our own gas barbecue, which we regularly used. When not eating at one of the fabulous restaurants that our host recommended, we ate our meals on our private, covered patio. Even enjoyed a nap in the hammock. Beatriz took good care of us, cleaned our unit, even did our laundry! Randy set up with a fantastic guide who took us fishing, snorkeling and he suggested that our guide drop us off for lunch at the remote, exquisite, La Picazon. What a day that was! My husband and I can't say enough about our stay at the Hamman's rental. The town of Loreto is lovely, scenic, tranquil and the people are warm and friendly. Our only regret is that our stay was just one week. We WILL be back and next time extend our stay. We thank Randy & Lynn for their gracious hospitality. Perfection! Barbie & Terry"

  • Three guys, three nights

"Three of us stayed at #223 and enjoyed Martha's nicely furnished home. We've stayed in other units before, but the floor plan of Martha's is unique and efficient for our purposes. It would accommodate more people quite nicely. What's terrific is the proximity to the beach, pool and Wine Bar. The parking lot was closed, so we used street parking which made getting provisions in and out more of a chore -- a good reason to use the services of Martha's concierge next time to stock up the place before we arrive. We spent most days out on our boat in the Sea of Cortez, so ending the day in a comfortable and well appointed home is a perfect way to end a perfect day."

  • An Amazing Place!

"Restful, relaxing, rejuvenating! This was such an amazing place to be and we can't wait to come back and we can't quit talking about it! Definitely the most comfortable stay we've had anywhere. Watching the full moon rise over Loreto Bay from the fab deck off the master suite was something that will live long in our memories. Loved having the doors wide open to listen to the surf all night. Blissful! And the community was open, inviting, friendly and helpful. Great restaurants, great coffee, fab wine bar, and superb live music. Thanks Stu and Sal, we can survive the cold and dark of a northern winter because of our time at your casa!"
