  • Relaxing Retreat

"We had a WONDERFUL time at Casa Illuminata at the Villages at Loreto Bay. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable, there was cable, AC, and ceiling fans. The kitchen was stocked with cooking utensils, stainless steel appliances, blender, spices, etc. and the home location within the complex was a quick 1-5 min walk to everything (Wine Cellar at Nopolo, El Corazon coffee shop, pools, Inn at Loreto Bay, beach). The pictures don't do the home justice -- there is a courtyard with fountain, and multiple levels for you to relax in. We had a massage at Agnes Boutique, went fishing a few times through a company in town, to Danzante steak house at Villa Del Palmar for a fancier dinner, to Leys in Loreto for groceries, to the wine bar every night, and the coffee shop every day. Everyone was so friendly. The owners even provided an incredibly thoughtful bottle of wine for our honeymoon. We're looking forward to coming back in the near future and bringing family & friends."

  • Perfect Get Away

"I highly recommend Casa Allen to anyone wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of life.  The flight from LAX, Los Angeles was easy and convenient.  The uniquely designed and painted home is located in a beautiful development five minutes from Loreto.   I enjoyed the numerous pathways that wind through the development surrounded by beautiful desert plants.   It was also nice to have a number of bars, eateries, a coffee shop, and the hotel all within a short, pleasant walk.  Casa Allen has a great family layout.  The courtyard greets you with a beautiful wall fountain and a number of bedrooms opening onto it.  Each room has its own decor with authentic Mexican hand painted tiles.  The linens are cool, crisp and clean.  The upstairs has a very large family room, kitchen, and spacious dining table for everyone to gather.   An upstairs large patio, which looks over the golf course and the mountains is a perfect place to eat, relax ,and watch the stunning sunsets. Though there was paddle boarding, snorkeling and boating available, my favorite time was spent in the small town of Loreto and walking along the Sea of Cortez. By far the highlight of the trip was traveling to the Pacific to see the Gray Whales who had just given birth to their babies.  Since my return to California I have not stopped talking about  Loreto.  I look forward to my return trip.   Cheers to Casa Allen!"

  • This is an extremely nice property. Well maintained and inviting for even the most discerning.

"Not our first visit to Mexico, but our first time in Loreto. So, from the moment we arrived both Barbara and Alan Jordan, owners, couldn't have been more welcoming. Their home and the casita are impressive and comfortable. The beds....fantastic! We rented a car so we were able to navigate easily within the town, but only after Alan Jordan took us on a tour of the town and pointed out known and unknown gems for eating, entertainment and excursions. Would not have known what to do without his help. Without a doubt this was a very enjoyable vacation and my wife and I could not recommend this oasis more except wish we had stayed longer. Peaceful, quiet, comfortable and convenient - what else could you ask for....? G & J Compton Scottsdale, AZ"

  • Beutiful home, everything as expected.

"The house meet all the expectations, there were no surprises. The home was clean and well maintain. There were plenty of towels, and plates and forks. I did not used any of the other cooking utensils, so I wouldn't be able to say much, but as far as the plates and cups go, everything was fine. Finding the home was a bit confusing but the security guy on the premises was very helpful and took as to the house and gave us details of the property and amenities, places to eat, and places to visit. The beds were in good condition and very clean. There was a washer and dryer which is very convenient. The only thing I though was a bit weird was the fact that there was a fee of $2.00 for the use of the grill, well not the grill but for the gas. I did not use it, did not cooked, but I had stayed at other places and had never seen that before. I just thought that the gas would be included. Other than the everything was as expected, everything was beautiful clean and well-kept. The owner is very helpful and will respond to request in a matter of hours. I had a special request for a letter and he responded to me with a letter in a matter of hours. I really appreciated his help and assistance. Overall very good. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone."
