  • This place is perfect for us!!

"We arrived Saturday afternoon and with easy check in we walked into our condo for the week and was totally surprised by the clean, cool and gorgeous view of our home for the week. It could not have been better. Loved to ground floor, walk out patio. Hammock got plenty of use too. Lots of coffee and evening snacks out there. Huge king bed with super inviting comfortable mattress. My son(12) tried the twin air mattress the first night, but it would not hold air all night so he moved to the leather sleeper sofa with TWO comfy mattress and slept great the rest of the trip (probably only recommend one person on the sofa bed or two little kids). My husband loved the air conditioning, he said it's the first time he's slept cool in Mexico anywhere:) Kitchen had every thing you could need. I loved having two bathrooms and the washer & dryer. Even the stash of snorkel equipment and two boogie boards got used. Thank you for the use of your great place, we hope to do it again next year. The Stoicks"

  • Stunning home and enchanting place!

"I spent the holidays (9 days) at this incredible home with my husband and our 5 kids ages 17-25. We rented out the whole property which included the main house, the apartment and the casita. It fit us perfectly and better yet, provided plenty of both togetherness and private time. The architecture is truly magical. That word seems overused but it is true. You must keep your eyes open for all the details... the Mexican tiles, the creative spaces and the unusual & unique features abound. It is truly Mexican in nature with most rooms not connected to each other, but opening to the outside. The location was also great if you are craving some quiet and privacy. It's about a 15-20 minute walk to the beach... but it's perfect. There are also beautiful views and I got up each morning for the sunrise over the Sea of Cortez. In addition, the staff was great and responsive to our needs. We also had meals brought in 4 times, which were wonderful! They quietly served us delicious food and then cleaned up! What a treat. I'd also recommend you rent 4-wheelers to get around. It's the preferred method of travel in the quiet and quaint town of Los Barriles. We loved it and will definitely return. Thank you for your beautiful home!"

  • Great quiet and relaxing spot on a beautiful beach

"We just returned from a great week at this house. We love having a little more quiet and solitude on our vacations, and this place is perfect. It is steps away from swimming in crystal clear water, which we enjoyed several times a day. There is new snorkeling gear, beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards etc all for use in the water. The views from the patio are outstanding, and the house has plenty of space for families to spread out. We found the kitchen amply stocked for any cooking needs, the wifi and TV provided a sense of being connected when we wanted it, and Rod and Barb were extremely helpful and responsive as property managers. We rented a 4 wheeler from them for easy access for fishing for my husband, but we also used it to drive up the beach to snorkel or to drive to a few neighboring resorts to swim in the pools. We've rented several properties in the Los Barriles area, and by far this is the best location and house for the money for those wanting to escape the resort scene and have a more genuine Baja experience. It's easy to grab supplies and meals in Los Barriles, but it's great to just sit on the veranda, swim, and enjoy the sun, sand and water too."
