  • This place is perfect for us!!

"We arrived Saturday afternoon and with easy check in we walked into our condo for the week and was totally surprised by the clean, cool and gorgeous view of our home for the week. It could not have been better. Loved to ground floor, walk out patio. Hammock got plenty of use too. Lots of coffee and evening snacks out there. Huge king bed with super inviting comfortable mattress. My son(12) tried the twin air mattress the first night, but it would not hold air all night so he moved to the leather sleeper sofa with TWO comfy mattress and slept great the rest of the trip (probably only recommend one person on the sofa bed or two little kids). My husband loved the air conditioning, he said it's the first time he's slept cool in Mexico anywhere:) Kitchen had every thing you could need. I loved having two bathrooms and the washer & dryer. Even the stash of snorkel equipment and two boogie boards got used. Thank you for the use of your great place, we hope to do it again next year. The Stoicks"

  • A special family destination

"Casa Cardonal is a lovely, comfortable destination home good for ten people. The facility is well-appointed, clean and has lots of extras (such as all the snorkeling equipment, paddle boards, kayaks). We loved all the Mexican dish wear and tile! And we all spent a lot of time on the back patio and pool. It is remote which we wanted but not for everyone. There were regular issues with the wifi.....went several days on two occasions without being to access it. It was great to not have to fight our teenagers to get off electronics but problematic for one of us needing regular access for work. Also one of us fell on a loose rug and broke her wrist and with no phone service, we had to hurry to get her into Las Barriles (a 30-40 minute ride over pot-holed roads) to know where to take her. (Which was into Cabo....another long ride but she got excellent care). Would suggest the dishwashers be replaced. One didn't clean at all and the other required rinsing anything on the lower rack to get soap residue off. And the barbecue though big has controls that need repair. Would we go back? Yes!!"

  • Another great stay at Casa de las Palmas

"My family and friends (4 adults and 4 children under the age of 7) just had another wonderful trip at Casa de las Palmas. We particularly enjoyed the chef provided meals for lunch and dinner (slightly more cost, but completely worth it - - - world class food) as well as the attention to detail of the home for our needs (helped arrange fishing trip and also ATVs for us to tour the amazing country around the home, also found paddle boards for us to exercise and explore). Our kids loved the pool, and really enjoyed the collection of vintage Disney VHS tapes (they had never seen several of the shows, and the adults got nostalgic too -- great to have a way for kids to rest after so much fun in sun). We will certainly be back!"

  • Stunning home and enchanting place!

"I spent the holidays (9 days) at this incredible home with my husband and our 5 kids ages 17-25. We rented out the whole property which included the main house, the apartment and the casita. It fit us perfectly and better yet, provided plenty of both togetherness and private time. The architecture is truly magical. That word seems overused but it is true. You must keep your eyes open for all the details... the Mexican tiles, the creative spaces and the unusual & unique features abound. It is truly Mexican in nature with most rooms not connected to each other, but opening to the outside. The location was also great if you are craving some quiet and privacy. It's about a 15-20 minute walk to the beach... but it's perfect. There are also beautiful views and I got up each morning for the sunrise over the Sea of Cortez. In addition, the staff was great and responsive to our needs. We also had meals brought in 4 times, which were wonderful! They quietly served us delicious food and then cleaned up! What a treat. I'd also recommend you rent 4-wheelers to get around. It's the preferred method of travel in the quiet and quaint town of Los Barriles. We loved it and will definitely return. Thank you for your beautiful home!"
