  • Home away from home!

"We love Casa Bella. The owners, Kurt and Robin, are fabulous, Los Barriles is absolutely beautiful, the locals are incredible, and Casa Bella is lovely. Pedro was very helpful with checking us in, maintenance, and hooking us up with deep sea fishing and ATV excursions. Our family has stayed here twice and loved every moment both trips. Wether your idea of a little getaway in Mexico is laying by the pool, swimming in the ocean, snorkeling, deep sea fishing, ATV adventures, wind surfing, whale encounters, putzing around town, mingling with locals, shopping for treasures, eating at numerous local, delicious restaurants, trekking to waterfalls, or road tripping to other towns in B.C.S., this location gives you access to it all. We loved shopping at the grocery store and cooking meals at the villa, too. Sunrises are breathtaking. Additionally, access to the owners' Wi-fi and all the attached resort amenities was wonderful. So much less crowded and touristy than Cabo, which is fun for a day to go snorkel and see El Arco, but Los Barriles is far more authentic and relaxing. We recommend perusing through the resource binder Kurt and Robin have compiled in the villa as it is a wealth of information regarding restaurants and activities. Our family loves traveling, and few places do we return to more than once...as for Los Barriles and specifically Casa Bella, twice wasn't enough. We'll be back again and again!"

  • A special family destination

"Casa Cardonal is a lovely, comfortable destination home good for ten people. The facility is well-appointed, clean and has lots of extras (such as all the snorkeling equipment, paddle boards, kayaks). We loved all the Mexican dish wear and tile! And we all spent a lot of time on the back patio and pool. It is remote which we wanted but not for everyone. There were regular issues with the wifi.....went several days on two occasions without being to access it. It was great to not have to fight our teenagers to get off electronics but problematic for one of us needing regular access for work. Also one of us fell on a loose rug and broke her wrist and with no phone service, we had to hurry to get her into Las Barriles (a 30-40 minute ride over pot-holed roads) to know where to take her. (Which was into Cabo....another long ride but she got excellent care). Would suggest the dishwashers be replaced. One didn't clean at all and the other required rinsing anything on the lower rack to get soap residue off. And the barbecue though big has controls that need repair. Would we go back? Yes!!"

  • We loved it

"I just can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay at Kathryn & Leo's beautiful condo and the wonderful people (Pedro & Gaby) and facilities at the Villas. Although the kitchen is fully stocked, Los Barilles offers so many wonderful dining choices we didn't cook once in 12 days; love Caleb's Cafe for breakfast and El Gecko for lunch. All the comments everyone else has made are true. This is our number one happy place above all others. We hope to return next year. Thanks for everything."
