"This home is totally over the top. I rented this home for my son's 50th birthday. All of my children arrived from all over. The home is simple, and that was the beauty of it. We loved the kitchen which went right into the dining room.....all one big room......a great place for a party. One of the best parts was privacy; everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom..........pure luxury. Of course, the pool and Jacuzzi was the icing on the cake. It's location was perfect for us in that it was very close to a huge store that carried everything and also close to town with good access to/from the airport. Walking to the beach was just a hop, skip, and a jump. We were able to gather all together as a group or go off on your own or with someone to the patio, the pool, the Jacuzzi or in the large area upstairs outside all the bedrooms.........lots of privacy. Lori was very accommodating and always available. She provided me with a ton of information on restaurants, stores, etc. Manuel was readily available for help of any kind in regard to this home. The best place ever. Thank you, Lori...............Jean"

  • Condo on the Beach, San Jose del Cabo

"We stayed for a week in September at this beautiful 2 br/2 ba condo, right on the beach. The rooms were comfortable, the ac provided a nice oasis from the intense heat and humidity this time of year, and the large wrap-around deck was amazing. The kitchen was fully equipped, but we only bothered with light breakfasts and lunches at "home", and ate out for dinner. The surf is rough, not safe to swim, but the condo complex has two large pools, one adjacent to the G-unit, the other just a few steps beyond. There was an Oxxo store just out at the road for basics such as water, milk, eggs, etc, and a larger grocery (locally known as the "Mega") about a mile toward San Jose del Cabo. There were several bank ATMs in a nearby strip mall, along with a Starbucks and some really good restaurants. We particularly enjoyed the food and service at La Marea (The Tide, or Tides?). There's a bus stop right at the road to get to Cabo San Lucas, about 30 min and about 35 pesos per person, paid as you enter the bus, or about 600-650 pesos by taxi. We walked into the San Jose del Cabo old town square a few times, about 3 mi/5 km one way, and really enjoyed the French Bakery restaurant there. We were there also for Mexican Independence Day, and enjoyed the festivities and fireworks in the town square. Henry was very responsive to texts and email, and was very easy to work with. We chose to pay an additional fee to activate the in-condo laundry, and he was able to coordinate that on very short notice (external laundry service is available at I think 70 pesos/load). We were very happy with the condo facilities and location, and would not hesitate to stay there on a return visit."

  • Pretty much everything we could want in a temporary home

"We had an awesome time at Casa Wendt with a few friends/couples. The pool is a fabulous place to hang out, and the patio beer fridge keeps beer at just the perfect temperature!! Home is very comfortable and the added bonus of the vehicle was so appreciated. We even made a fabulous Christmas turkey dinner with fresh herbs from the garden!! Yum! Nice walk down to the beach and Zippers, although the walk back up the hill is a good hike... (ready for a swim again!) Friendly gated neighborhood with amazing views on our walks. Only 2 small complaints/suggestions: Other than the master bedroom, the beds could use a memory-foam mattress topper & better pillows for some forgiveness over the hard mattresses. There is also a house in the next neighborhood behind here that had dogs that seemed to go off barking in the morning (ugh... not Steve's fault, but if I had a bebe gun... just kidding!) After 5 weeks, we felt like it was "our home" and we were very sad to go. We definitely would recommend Casa Wendt !"

  • Happy Manitobans

"We totally enjoyed ourselves at BelAir Resort. It is exactly as pictured! The pool was a little cool, but the weather amazing. The people were awesome, helpful and very friendly. Swim up bar was very cool. The rooms were beautifully setup and very clean , housekeeping was great. The evenings were very quiet, just what we wanted. We would definitely recommend it and go back some day."
