"What a comfortable, wonderful place to vacation. We were near everything we needed in this gated, secure villa. Barbara, the owner, was quite helpful in answering all of our questions before arriving, and the property manager answered everything else. Barbara's handbook is invaluable! Table of Contents has an overview of everything about the condominiums, as well as local and surrounding areas. Maps galore. A must read. We managed to attend a 2 day Jazz Festival and Art Show, which was a 5 minute walk from the condo. Great music. There was also a condo birthday party, that we were invited to attend. Walked along the coastline, snorkeled, ate delicious food, and enjoyed ourselves tremendously. The condo is well taken care of with all the amenities one would want or need. This establishment is well worth the stay. Thank you, Barbara and Dan."

  • Can't Stop Appreciating This Amazing Vacation Place!

"At Jazz Corner we really got the relaxation we needed! We enjoyed reading and visiting with one another indoors and outside on the terrace. We used the Apple TV to watch some fun movies and shows. We cooked "at home" with fresh local ingredients from the organic market and the Flora Farms shop in town -- although we ate out at least once a day, thoroughly loving the vast range of restaurants! We caught up on our sleep -- on a comfy King-sized bed! The furnishings were happy and fabulous (and we miss that atmosphere now that we've left). Jazz Corner was very well equipped and perfectly situated. We felt especially fortunate to be on this high corner, where the view is spectacular (if a little breezier than at ground level occasionally). But we didn't JUST chill! We swam and read around the pools, worked out in the fitness center, hit the tennis court one day, and walked into town. We explored the local area; we got cool jewelry, produce and chicken, cold coconuts, and a great lunch at the organic market. We made a day trip to snorkel at Cabo Pulmo, although we ended up seeing even more colorful fish when we snorkeled closer to "home" at Chileno Bay. Our daily adventures were always fun, and driving was easier than we expected. As artists, we were happy to check out the Thursday Night Art Walk in San Jose's Historic District. As a special treat, we got some a couples massage! The local people are friendly, as are the staff and other guests or owners at Alegranza. We get why the popular Los Cabos bumper sticker says "NO BAD DAYS!" We will eagerly return to Jazz Corner and San Jose del Cabo!"

  • Cosy beachside condo

"A great condo for 2 on a beautiful beach in San Jose del Cabo. The unit had a well equipped kitchen, lots of towels and beach chairs for guests' use. The pool and barbecue area were inviting and it was always easy to get a lounge and umbrella. This upstairs unit was private and had a lovely ocean view. The proximity to La Comer grocery store and the bus route makes it a winner. Susan, the property manager, was very accommodating, arranging an early check in and late check out for us."

  • Perfect Weather & Beautiful Views

"We are so happy with our visit to this unit and complex. Everything was as promised, and the owner made the transaction very easy. The weather was perfect! Warm, low humidity, and no bugs!! The unit had the most well stocked kitchen we had ever seen. We were impressed to find a crock pot, storage containers, measuring cups, cookie sheets, binoculars (one set was missing from the case), games, and beach towels. The bedrooms and bedding were very comfortable. Our favorite spot was the patio. We saw every sunrise, and there were blankets on the comfy chairs to keep us warm in the early mornings. Nice touch! The pool and ocean views were exactly what we hoped for when we booked this particular unit. The complex and residents are extremely nice, and the landscapers are meticulous. The complex itself is generally quiet with families. (Any condo along this corridor is going to have highway and construction noise, and this one was no exception. Can't hear it from the beach or inside the condo though.) We spent a lot of time on the beach and used the warning flags at the resort next door as our guide for wading. We saw people swimming and paddle boarding right in front of the complex. Our daughter flagged down the vendor and went horseback riding from there too. We rented a car. It took a couple of days to get used to the traffic pattern, and the drivers are aggressive with little regard for stop signs or speed limits. But by the middle of the trip, we adjusted. We met people who didn't have a car, and they walked about 20 minutes to the grocery store every morning. The El Comer grocery store (previously Mega) is in a plaza with a Starbucks, McDonalds, and Dairy Queen. Right outside the complex is an OXXO convenient store to the left and Trader Dick's Market to the right. We went to Trader Dick's several times for homemade pico and guacamole...delicious. We also walked up to Sardina Cantina a few chicken tenders ever!! We spent one day in CSL. Ate at Soloman's Landing, shopped, and took the Sunset Cruise through EcoCat...all recommended. We visited the square in San Jose Del Cabo to shop. Would like to eat and spend more time there. We had originally planned to do many more activities (snorkling, whale watching, Flora Farms, golfing, fishing), but we were so comfortable laying by the pool and beach, that we decided to just relax. We plan to return and hope to stay at El Zalate and this unit again!"
