  • Great Stay

"Wife and I, along with another couple, stayed at Mananitas from Dec. 25, 2015 - Jan. 1, 2016. First things first. I really enjoyed working with Ron regarding our stay. He was quick to answer questions via e-mail and we had conversations on the phone and text. Can't say enough about how comfortable I felt heading into this stay. The condo is as advertised, maybe a little better. The kitchen is very well stocked with all the pots and pans, cooking utensils and kitchen supplies. This included two coffee makers, which was really appreciated as we had a decaf drinker and a couple regular coffee drinkers among us. We cooked breakfast most mornings, so we really appreciated the kitchen. This condo has a great veranda/lanai with a spectacular view of the Sea of Cortez. There was a full moon during our stay, so watching the moon rise and the reflection of the water was really something. The wife is not a huge sun person, so she really enjoyed being able to relax and read here during the day and the four of us spent many hours here in the evening. Other highlights: - Great pool options. We are beach people, so did not use the pools, instead enjoying the wide beach. Great place of seaside sunning. - A five minute walk to the Mega, a full service grocery (and more) that will have all the things you would need during your stay. Ron has a cart, cloth bags and bag holders available. These are great as the bags used in Mexico and not comparable to what you might be used to from your local US grocery. - Strong and reliable wi-fi. - Cabs and local busses are a couple minutes walk away. Several good restaurants within walking distance. I see people on message boards talking of walking to town, but that is probably a little over two miles. Bus ride was slightly over $1 and a cab was $6 for four of us. - Very secure setting. Security personnel were very visible, day and night. They quietly went about their business. This was our first stay in San Jose after over a dozen stays in Cabo San Lucas. San Jose is much quieter than San Lucas, which we found quite refreshing. Many good restaurants all over town. I would anticipate that we will be returning to San Jose and this great condo."

  • Breathtaking Sunrise

"We absolutely loved your condo! The view was breathtaking, from watching spectacular sunrises, moon rising, surfers and listening to an abundance of birds chirping! The condo was more than adequate. It was very well stocked! All you need are your groceries. The Mega is a great grocery store. It has a wonderful bakery! Also you do have the convenience of the restaurant Zipper's 2 doors down. The property is very well maintained & people were friendly & helpful. The beach was gorgeous! I loved having my coffee every morning watching the spectacular sunrise & hearing the birds chirping! The only drawback is the fact that you really need to rent a car unless you want to spend a lot on taxi's. We did take the bus to the Mega & then take a taxi back with our grocery's. There is a lovely restaurant [ 7 Seas ] about 1/4 mile south. The town of San Jose del Cabos is very quaint & has some great restaurants. This was a wonderful vacation & I definitely want to return for a longer time! Thank you for sharing your little bit of heaven! Linda & Dan Zaborsky"

  • A nice get away.

"The house was clean upon our arrival and had many comforts of home. Air-conditioning, full kitchen, cable TV and three King size beds with each bedroom having it's own bathroom. The house is walking distance to the beach, coffee shop and wine bar but set back from the street so it's in a quiet location. Parking has changed since the last time I was there. Larger vehicles are to park in the east side of the street and smaller cars are to park on the west side. We had a Suburban. We purchased a parking pass ($15) from the Baja Boss property manger for the week to park in the dirt at the south end of the houses. Nopolo is about a 10 min drive south of Loreto and 8 min south of the airport. A few restaurant standouts were. El Corazon (coffee), and Wine Bar. If you are looking for a nice relaxing get away, for fishing, golfing, snorkeling, and a kayaking destination, Loreto is the place. My wife and I brought our kids, 5,6, and 8 and felt very comfortable while in Loreto. The people are friendly and Loreto is very clean."

"We chose Casa Tash in Cabo after extensive research online for a February vacation destination. This rental is everything indicated online and MORE. The unit comes amazingly well-stocked with no detail overlooked due to the efforts of property managers, Bibi and Brandon. They are a delightful, dedicated couple who are accessible 24/7 and are helpful in sharing local knowledge. The furnishings were both stylish and extremely comfortable. There is something special about waking up and viewing sunrises be it in the comfort of your bed or with your cup of coffee on the 30' balcony that spans the living room and master bedroom. During the day or evening, the view from Casa Tash of town, harbour, and surrounding mountains was outstanding, and we actually looked forward to returning to our little paradise after our daily outings. On the webpage, it indicates the owner, Greg, responds within 12 hrs to requests. Greg holds true to his word, and we appreciated his promptness any time we needed to contact him throughout the rental process."
