  • Awesome condo and location

"We loved this condo. It was just the right size and had a great layout. Right on the ocean, and you can watch surfers at the "Zippers" break which is a popular spot. I brought my inflatable SUP down, and was able to paddle in front of the condo (I am a beginner and it was definitely a learning curve getting out past the break - but once you are out there it is manageable). We loved how uncrowded the beach was. The condo is very quite, peaceful, and relaxing, and the grounds were well maintained (and barely any bugs!). We did not rent a car, and didn't feel one was needed. The bus system was fast (and cheap), and we were able to walk up to the Mega for groceries (it's about a mile away, and does require walking along the highway in some spots with no sidewalk). We loved eating at Sardina Cantina, about half a mile away, along with many of the restaurants in the downtown area. The owner was extremely helpful and quick to respond to questions. Would definitely recommend this unit and look forward to coming back again!"

  • Family Cabo Trip

"Our family always enjoys visiting Cabo and Villa La Estancia is one of our favorite places to stay! This particular unit stands above any others we've stayed in at VLE as it was recently upgraded and Crystal and her team will go the extra mile to ensure you have an enjoyable stay. The unit has morning sun and afternoon shade, which is our preference. We look forward to returning next year!! Or as soon as possible :)"

  • Amazing

"We had the pleasure of staying in the casita for two weeks in May. There are so many good things to say about it, I'll do my best to summarize. First of all the access to the water is unbelievable. If you are like us and just love the ocean and all it has to offer, this is ideal. It is a 4 minute walk, down a dirt road to the crystal blue waters of the Sea of Cortez. I would start my day with a morning swim along the coast, and as I swam along, I saw all kinds of fish as well as rays, it was unbelievable. There are two small reefs right off the beach that are great for snorkeling. One of the highlights was the leaping Mobula Rays, which you can watch from the balcony on the casita or up close an personal in a kayak. Having access to the kayaks was wonderful, we were able to paddle up and down the beach, finding different places to explore as well as paddling out and watching the leaping Mobula Ray show. The town of Los Barilles is wonderful, very low key and peaceful, with many good restaurants. Our two favorites were Piscis (next to Chapitos back alley parking area) and Cafe Maria (a bit tricky to locate, but there is a review on trip adviser that gives directions). We rented ATV's from Quadman and had great experiences exploring the arroyos and traveling along the road to Punta Pescadero (which has amazing snorkeling). Also took a trip to Cabo Pulmo for a dive adventure. Dove with Cabo Pulmo Diving (Pilu is wondeful), which was fantastic. Other than that, you can enjoy the solitude Los Barilles has to offer, it was a memorable and relaxing two week stay."

  • Outstanding vacation home!

"Just returned from a week long stay at Sueno Azul between Christmas and New Year's. As the reviews noted below, the photos do not do this fabulous home justice. 5 bedrooms, all with private baths, suited are group of 8 adults perfectly. We really appreciated the television room being on the second level too, as we kept forgetting it existed and played lots of games, cards and just enjoyed being together. All the rooms had ample towels, pillows, great linens, shampoo, conditioner, it felt like we were staying at a resort. Beach towels, chairs, boogie boards, pool rafts were all readily available. Great sound system, wifi and fabulously stocked kitchen to prepare the mahi we caught fishing. But best of all was - THE VIEW- as we saw many whales and sunrises from the pool deck. We used the pool, hot tub and walked the steep hill to the beach (for exercise) every day! The proximity to San Jose del Cabo was perfect for shopping at Mega, but we found for a group our size Costco had a better meat and snack selection. We were also very impressed with the owner's graciousness and immediate answers to any of our questions. We would highly recommend Sueno Azul and Cabo as a terrific place to relax, and enjoy being with your family! We also had an outstanding experience with BBB Rent a Car, near the airport, as you would definitely need a car to get around and explore. Cabo Pulmos and snorkeling/diving was excellent even with the long bumpy ride on a dirt road for about 6 miles. Santiago and hiking into the Hot Springs wasn't a success though as the weather was too cold at night to keep the springs warm and the zoo was also closed for renovations. Los Tamarindos restaurant, located in an old sugar cane mill, was another great find on a dirt road for family style dinner. The Office on the beach in San Lucas was great fun too! Enjoy a great house, in a great location in a terrific part of the world!!"
