Santa Rosa vacation rentals

This place was great! Dog friendly, private access to the north end of La misión beach directly in front of the house. The complex is technically in the second row in front of the beach, but there’s nothing in front except the little path through the ice plant-covered dune, so it’s slightly set back from the beach and feels very private. The large balcony is like its own patio with an amazing unobstructed view of the ocean right out front. The linens, towels, bathroom, and full kitchen were also super clean, and the host provided some water bottles and a bag of ice. The floor is sort of a porous stone tile so I imagine it is tough to get all of the sand/dust off the floor from being so close to the beach. There are some wonderfully artistic pieces of furniture, including the bed frame and other accents around the room & property that really tie the place together. The bed itself is comfy but on the springier side for sure. There were two little dogs, which were friendly enough, staying here along with I believe the host’s mother, who was very sweet. There is a gate guard at the west entrance 24/7, and the dirt road continues under the highway and into the neighborhood inland along the lagoon, which was prettier than expected. Great cafe up there. There is a gate on the dirt road under the highway, which I imagine gets closed at night. The neighborhood feels very relaxed and secure. Great uncrowded beach with a volleyball court and bonfires at night. Thanks again!!

Beach casita on a sandy beach! Not a ton close by walking distance but the property has its own access to the beach that is usually pretty empty. Backyard is beautiful and the house has all the essentials you will need in your stay. There is no AC but you don’t really need it. Only frustrations of the house were the screen doors didn’t consistently stay on the track so you’d to be mindful of that. Additionally, the refrigerator door seal wasn’t the best so wr ended up propping something against the door so it would stay shut. If you can live with those items, then the house is perfect for you!

The stay at this home was absolutely perfect, the house is a beautiful floorplan overlooking the ocean that provided us with a lot of family camaraderie and rest.

This is a great place. It is everything the listing states. I stayed there solo with my dog. I felt very safe. The house has everything you need. I did not cook , I was on a short 2 day stay and ate out. I plan to return and will use the outdoor BBQ a lot. The home is in a great location, on a large piece of property overlooking a vineyard. Very peaceful and relaxing, a nice rural feel. Lots of choices dining out nearby.

We were 2 couples visiting Baja and needed a place for home base to explore Wineries and restaurants. This rustic home is charming, has nice character and a rich history. It is situated high along a cliff wall overlooking the Pacific ocean. The best part of the house is the magnificent water views and beautiful sunsets from every part of the house! No AC but we didn't need it with the ocean breeze flowing in through windows. The expansive beach which we had almost to ourselves is accessible by a stone (and sometimes steep) staircase. Not recommended for young children , disabled or elderly that can't navigate stairs. House is well equipped, comfortable and wifi worked well. Btw, there isn't a dishwasher but we didn't mind doing our own for the few meals we had since we mostly ate out. The owners are lovely and gave great recommendations to restaurants and info for wineries. The house is safely tucked in a gated community of playa la mission and felt very safe and well located to explore Valle de Guadalupe, Ensenada and Rosarito!! Just a note , the house does not have a washer/dryer so longer stays might be more challenging.
