  • Lovely place with a lovely view!

"The condo is spacious and well appointed. Comfy beds, high end appliances. Nancy was an excellent host in setting up the rental. Very good communication and was nice to be able to pay with PayPal. We were there a week and we enjoyed spending time in the pool on the deck or sitting around the outside table. It's not deep but it's heated and the view from the pool is divine. Didn't use the larger condo pool, but there were plenty of people sitting around it reading and relaxing. We ate at the palapa restaurants at the beach, which were good. The waves were coming right up to the tables so water was a bit rough for swimming, although the husband didn't let that stop him most days (a boat flipped over in the surf one day so that was it for me). The last massage place on the beach was terrific. All of them charge about $20 USD/hour, but the people at this one seemed most professiona. Nice facial for $20 too. I wouldn't recommend the restaurant at the condo facility. Not great food and not great service. We walked down the road to the little town of Mismaloya, where there are a couple of nice little shops for groceries and beer. Take the bus to downtown PV for 40 cents right across from condo or spend $10 USD on a cab. We'd highly recommend taking the bus to Boca de Tomatlan and then a short boat ride to Las Animas beach (costs $7-$8 USD each). It's much less crowded than Mismaloya, and there are no big buildings or hotels, just restaurants and a beautiful beach. No roads into the town so everything is boated in. Really enjoyed the restaurant El Fundador. Great food, owner who used to live in Arizona was a great guy, and the place had the cleanest beach bathroom around. We'd also recommend taking a cab to the botanical gardens south of Mismaloya. Stunningly beautiful with a great restaurant and shop."

  • Excellent location and accomodating host.

"My husband and I stayed here for just under a week. Cameron met us the day we checked in and explained where everything was, including the wsher and dryer. The place was nice, newly rennovated and clean. It was really the perfect location to bounce around town, grab some food, drinks, and explore the city. We had a great time and found some excellent restaurants off the beaten path. For the price, we cou'dnt have gotten a better deal. I highly reccomend staying here."

  • Every step of the way was seamless for an amazing trip!

"From booking, to planning, to staying, to follow-up, we had the most amazing experience at Casa Yvonneka with the staff there and the staff of Luxury Retreats. I cannot speak more highly of everyone involved. John, Jessica, and James made every effort to help and make this a special trip. Their goal was for us to have an incredible trip and we did. Thank you!"
