  • Beautiful Home away from home!

"This is our second year staying in this lovely house. We are coming back next year and have already booked for February. Our friends and family have come into town and rented the casita so it's great having them here with us. We have only good things to say and will continue to rent here . We love the walk uphill (I am 70 and my husband 67) and walk home every night (but no problem getting an inexpensive cab ride if we are tired) Most nights we walk down to the Jardin to our favorite restaurants, but love living up high where it is more quiet and a little cooler. I love the red tiled kitchen and nice dining area and wonderful big overstuffed chairs and big couch in the living room by the large gas fireplace. It feels very cozy and homey. The bedroom is really large with lots of windows and a small fireplace...tons of closet and drawer space and the mattress is fabulous! The large bathroom is lovely, having an open, airy feeling, giant bathtub and shower with lots of hot water!!!!! We use the "den" a lot as an office and studio, it has tons of light...and beds for extra folks/kids if needed. From the "crow's nest" we have watched many fireworks over the Centro, where there are many celebrations! An incredible view of the entire city and valley....amazing! I adore the garden with big fountain, the many flowers and birds, especially the humming birds! and the outdoor sitting/eating/ working area. We really can't say enough good things about this property, obviously we keep coming back to it! Sabrina is such a great person to work with...always fair and takes care of everything. Luz and Gregario, the housekeeper and gardener do a great job keeping up with maintenance, etc and they just live across the street. The internet is better than some houses we've been in, and there is a local phone. Really can't think of anything we don't like here!!!"

  • Second Time Visitor

"I just returned from San Miguel for my second stay in this elegant but most comfortable home. You know you have arrived to a special space with the interior courtyard setting a welcoming tone. Every room in the home allows the beautiful nature outside to be viewed and enjoyed inside. The rooftop terrace provided us the perfect cocktail setting. The views made you feel you were in an authentic, European setting. If the spacious rooms and beautiful furnishings weren't enough, you are greeted daily by the most pleasant host Lidia. Her warm, Mexican smile makes you know you are "her guest". Her homemade breakfasts proved to be the best way to start our day! The brief 10-12 minute walk to the center of the village made you feel you were among the locals but don't be fooled! The restaurants are 5-star quality and could rival any large cities line up. Sam Miguel's art galleries, architecture, multiple tour options, shopping and dining are just a few of the must dos! We took a cooking class while there with authentic Mexican ingredients! What a treat to see, hear, smell and taste their real food! "Buen Provecho" Do not miss a chance to stay at this lovely home and experience the charm and magic of San Miguel. It will not be my last visit."

  • Breathtaking property!

"From the moment we walk through the gates of this San Miguel de Allende property we were in awe. The courtyard, the house and the caretakers were more than lovely and the location is perfect to walk the streets and get the feel of this beautiful city. Victoria cooked us a wonderful breakfast as we relaxed in the courtyard surrounded by gardens and singing birds. Sally called us and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay and was very helpful with places to eat and sites to see. I am already trying to figure a next visit to San Miguel and this fabulous home!"

  • Casa Carol and Casita Top Norch

"We spent a week at Casa Carole , just the 4 of us, two couples. This is a stupendous property. If you are wanting to explore San Miguel De Allende and want to pamper yourself, book this property now! It has everything: location-walk everywhere, grandeur, comfortable beds with sumptuous linens, house hold staff (download google translate if you you don't speak Spanish) to take care of your every need including breakfast and lunch if you like, cozy nooks to read by the fire, several outdooor sleeping or lounging options, views from multiple rooftop terraces and every bedroom is ensuite. Hire a chef in for dinner? They have that. Need a mariachi band to play on your courtyard? They can do that. This is truly living at its finest in one of the prettiest safest spots in Mexico I have ever been."
