  • Excellent

"A very comfortable, well designed casita in a convenient location. Everything is in good condition. The bed is comfortable, with lots of extra pillows and blankets. Kim is flexible and responds quickly to any questions or concerns."

  • The property is beautiful and with perfect location.

"My only suggestion is to add more seating in the open courtyard and the roof. These are such beautiful spots but currently guests can't enjoy them enough. Otherwise it is perfection!"

  • We had a great time in Guanajuato at Casa Terraza. Highly recommended.

"My family and I (5 people) stayed at Casa Terraza for a total of five nights and had a great time. It is at most a ten minute walk from the main plazas in Guanajuato and since it is located in a more residencial area you also get a chance to experience the real local flavor. It is very close to a roundabout where we had breakfast almost every day: rib, chorizo and adobada tacos at one stand and various gorditas at another. It is also close to Oxxo (convenience store) and Comercial Mexicana (supermarket) so if you needed anything it is easily accesible. If you need a taxi to the center of town it is between $40 and $50 pesos. We had an issue the first day with hot water but Tanya the property manager took care of it quickly and was very helpful with chek-in and check-out. Israel does local tours for Casa Terraza and we took a couple private ones with him an really enjoyed them. We recommended Israel to another family and they were very thankful for the recommendation. The property is in very good condition, well decorated and very clean. We stayed in the "Samba" room which has two bedrooms, one bathroom, full kitchen and living room. Two of us in one room, two in another and one of our kids on the sofa-bed in the living room. In conclusion we enjoyed the place, location and Guanajuato."

  • Guanajuato Mountain Side

"Let me start off by saying that Buzz was very accommodating and a great host overall. Buzz let my boyfriend and I check in early since we were on a red eye and arrived to Guanajuato very early in the morning. We took a taxi from BJX to Guanajuato. Once in Guanajuato, we took Uber everywhere! Very easy to use, safe, reliable, and you know exactly how much your paying. Unfortunately, you are not able to take Uber from BJX to Guanajuato because of taxi politics, since Uber is recently new in the area. Taxi was from BJX to Guanajuato was $23-25 US. The apartment was just as described. Right next to Mt. Bufa, an amazing view of the city and mountain sides. We loved the set up of the apartment especially the the separate kitchen. Everything we needed was available. We also had access to washer and dyer. Hot water, wifi, TV. Bed was comfortable. Patio was lovely. We also loved the fact that inside the apartment was cooler in temperature, great after a long day of walking. It was an easy walk down to town, Buzz was nice enough to provide us a simple map to get there. A 5-10 min walk to get into town, right across the way is Cafe Taz, look for the upstairs patio. Great coffee and easy breakfast. If you go to the right you will find a lovely garden and if you keep heading past the garden you will see the small lake after the bridge where you can take a small boat out or have dinner at the restaurant next to it. Right in front of the Cafe is a bus stop. For 5 pesos you can take the bus anywhere in town. Just look at their windows to see if it stops where your headed. We would catch the bus to Embajadoras then to the Centro. Some days we would walk down from the apartment and just take an Uber into downtown. We fell in love with the city. We visited all major cites, Jardin de la Union, lots restaurants, University, mercado, and even watched a musical show at the Treatro Principal. Days were spent getting lost in the city, alleyways, plazas, shops. The city is very safe, police everywhere protecting the tourism and locals. There is a place in el centro where you can purchase bus passes if you wanted to visit cities near by and you can purchase there. Buzz thanks you for a great place to stay and experience Guanajuato we will be back!"
