  • Perfect Rental

"We spent eight days in this fantastic home with three generations under one roof. Nothing could have been better and as the English say the 'value for dollars' was amazing. We arrived to a huge cut flower display, i suppose from the adjacent flower stand. The plashing fountains, two levels of roof top deck with views forever… well tended plants and a well cleaned home with traditional tile floors. Cooking meals worked out well in the stocked kitchen--including traditional dish ware. There was plenty of room to spread out with two living rooms and huge dining area. The house has wonderful 'architectural interest'--the photos don't lie. The bedrooms are spacious and the en suite baths a bonus. The home is walking distance-- no thats wrong-- immediately adjacent to things as diverse as the huge Parque Juarez and the roof top dining at the Rosewood Hotel; to local supermarkets for the bottled water and milk run; to restaurants and shops; to the local Taco cart… and is perhaps four or five blocks to the Jardin and Parrochia at town center. The owner was very communicative and paid attention to details like making up one room as a king bed rather than two twins. The staff was unobtrusive and willing to be of further (negotiated) service. The home is on a gated cobble stone street behind a porte cochere, on a private courtyard covered with flowering vines--c'mon now, ¿whats not to like? We engaged the ** highly** recommendable SMARide for airport and day trips and they knew the location well. Do yourself a favor!"

  • Beautiful, spacious, convenient!

"My wife and I stayed for about a week with another couple at Casa de la Vista. Gorgeously decorated place! And the location was terrific - just a short walk from the center of town. We were struck by all the modern conveniences provided. A fully stocked kitchen -dishwasher, a large refrigerator, pots, pans, dishes – made cooking as easy as if we were home. Our bedroom, on the third floor, had a terrific terrace, with a view to die for. Our bed was very comfortable, and the en suite bath spacious, with plenty of space to store our stuff. The first level bath included a washer and dryer, which were put to good use. The home’s security system made us feel extremely safe, and the maid service kept the place very clean. We didn’t happen to use most of the amenities available, but we did take advantage of the transportation offered to and from the airport at León. Arrangements were made to pick us up at the airport, and despite the typical delays of modern day air travel, as soon as we picked up our luggage, the driver was there, ready to chauffer us to SMA. Our return flight was early, but our driver was there, at 4:30 am no less, to take us back to León. In summary, I highly recommend staying at Casa de la Vista. Five stars!"

  • Beautiful home and fabulous tow

"We stayed here for 10 days and enjoyed every minute. The house beautiful and is beautifully furnished. We felt at home from the moment of our arrival. The views from the upper terrace are fantastic and we enjoyed some amazing sunsets from the third floor balcony. San Miguel is a lovely town, with lots to see and do. Many phenomenal places to eat. Taxis are REALLY inexpensive or you can walk or take a very short bus ride (about .35 cents U.S.) to get the real feel of local life. (Bus stop is a few steps from the house)."

  • 13 Callejon de Chepito, San Miguel de Allende, Mexico

"This property is both beautifully designed and decorated as well as perfectly situated for staying in San Miguel de Allende. There are three separate patios with "picture perfect" views of the city, and a wonderful multi-story layout separating the bedrooms from the TV room, office, dining and seating areas. The housekeeper, Soledad, is a delight, keeps the property immaculate, and is there for your check-in and tour of the casa. You can directly pay her for additional services such as meal preparation and groceries. From the house it is an easy walk downhill to the city center, and almost all of the city's principal attractions. Some may find the walk back uphill a challenge, but If so taxis are cheap and readily available. The owners, Laurie and Larry were fantastic to deal with, and fully provided all the information you might need for your stay. A special aspect of staying here is that you are in a real part of the city that is home to Mexican families, not a sterile Americanized replica. As such, you will hear roosters crowing in the morning, see children playing in the afternoon, and engage with local residents as you come and go. If you want to visit San Miguel but not be part of Mexico, then this location may not be for you. However, you will be missing a tremendous experience. I can not recommend this home and location highly enough, and we will definitely stay there on our next visit to San Miguel."
