  • A nice apartment for the physically fit

"First, I would like to acknowledge that the very small casita has been nicely decorated and has everything one would need in terms of cooking wear, etc., etc. The refrigerator is larger than the typical mini 'fridge which is nice if you are going to do much cooking. It is also sparkling clean and most things seem quite new. The owner clearly put a lot of effort into making a small space useable. The shower is perhaps the best I've seen in Mexico. The main reason I cannot give this a 5 star rating has to do with the stairs. I knew from the house description that there were stairs, but the photo shown is only the set of stairs going to the bedroom which would have been do-able for me. However, what is not shown is the first flight of stairs which is very long and pretty much straight up. It was with great difficulty in bringing up my suitcases alone. I am an older woman with osteoarthritis and by the 2nd day I realized my knees were being seriously compromised and I needed to find myself a different place to stay. Saying this, I would like to add that for a younger person or an older person who is in good shape, then the stairs would not be a problem for you."

  • Second year and we like it even better our home in SMA

"We returned this year for a month to this very comfortable and charming casita. We love the location as it is central and at the same time very quite and not in a crowded area , it is close to Restaurants and great stores as the Mercado Sano , Natura and many others. Also close to our favorite wellness center Life Path offering great yoga classes with a wonderful teacher. The casita has a fully equipped kitchen with great pots and pens of all type. I love buying organic veggies and cook delicious dishes in this well equipped kitchen. The bedroom is very spacious with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom is spacious. The upstair deck has comfortable lounge chaires surrounded by many beautiful pots of flowers. A great place to relax and read . The living area is very comfy with a nice loveseat three chairs and a flat TV where you can even access Netflix. The staff at the house is great. The Manager Andres is very efficient he speaks English and will respond immediately to any of your questions . Ana the housekeeper is great comes three times a week and the casita is spotless. John the owner is very responsive and kind we have never met him personally but he has been very responsive to any requests we may have made. We certainly will return and highly recommend you stay here when you come to SMA."

  • Casa Rosy - San Miguel de Allende, Mexico

"This property was delightful....and everything one could possibly hope for. The description of this charming two-bedroom unit was correct in every respect and everything one could possibly want was available. The property is tastefully decorated in an eclectic contemporary style. Everything was spotless and linens were of superior quality. Housekeeping was professional and friendly. The property manager was very accommodating and helpful and arranged for ground transportation from and to Queretaro airport. The location of this property in the heart of San Miguel de Allende is ideal for many reasons: It only takes a few minutes to walk to the Jardin and La Parroquia. There are numerous excellent restaurants, among them The Restaurant and El Pegaso. A few steps away is a huge market with fresh vegetables, fruit, meat and fish. But maybe most of all, it is quiet. Anyone who has been awakened by the very loud church bells early in the morning knows how important this is. We plan on returning to this charming property and will recommend it highly to anyone traveling to San Miguel"
