  • AMAZING. even better than the gorgeous picture!

"This place was absolutely perfect. We traveled to SMA for one of our best friend's weddings and the location was central, the place was clean and well-maintained, and the beds were extremely comfortable. We couldn't have found a more perfect place! We would definitely stay here on our next trip to San Miguel de Allende (along with all the other wedding guests that stopped by just to see the gorgeous place!)."

  • Case Girasol: Great house and amenities

"The house is fully equipped, immaculate and beautifully furnished, located in a quiet and peaceful cup-de-sac. It is spacious but at the same time has a cozy and warm feeling. The views from the living areas are amazing, the beds comfortable, and the kitchen contains plenty of spices, pots and pans and dishes. Wifi was dependable - very important! The housekeeper, Marcela is super helpful and friendly, and is readily available to help out. It is about a 10 minute walk into the main part of town, and there are taxis everywhere to bring you back to the casa at the end of a long day. The shopping was plentiful and affordable; I highly recommend the Mercado de las Artesenías (open every day), and also the organic farmers market (on Saturdays). Restaurants - el Muro, Hecho en Mexio, and el Pegaso (great desserts!). La Parroquia and El Correo have delicious breakfasts, and Petit Four, and Cumpanio have pastries guaranteed to make you swoon (and gain weight!). Be sure to visit Johrej Chocolates on Calle Jesus. Try their Mayan hot chocolate and don't leave without buying some candy. A wonderful tour service is Angelica's Transportation and Tours. She and her business partner, Mario speak fluent English and Mario is a history buff who will make your tours fascinating! The rental process was easy and quick; the owners responded promptly to our inquiries. I HIGHLY recommend this to anyone who is looking for a luxurious, affordable and spacious rental in San Miguel."

  • Beautiful Condo

"My friend and I stayed in Heather's condo for two weeks and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect accomodation. It is located close to the Jardin and many excellent restaurants. It is so beautifully decorated and everything you could ask for has been supplied. There is an excellent pastry shop across the street that is really hard to resist. We prepared most of our breakfasts, some lunches and a couple of dinners at the condo and just enjoyed relaxing and enjoying the ambience. There is a grocery store just over a block away and lots of fresh fruit available close by. Heather was so nice and really informative about SMA; we really enjoyed the time we spent with her. She told us about some of her favorite restaurants which ended up being ours too. We hope to be able to return to SMA before too long and hope that we will be able to stay in Heather's condo again."

  • Beautiful, Art-Filled and Perfectly Located

"My husband and I returned to San Miguel after our first trip in 2012. This time we were with two couples who had not been to the City. On our recommendation, we stayed again at Casa Pina, where we had stayed in 2012. The other four were seasoned travelers, and so we held our breath, hoping that they would love Casa Pina as much as we had the first time we were there. We needn't have worried. They were as charmed as we were, and thanked us many times for bringing them to this magical home. Maria and Theresa, the cook and housekeeper, were there again, and were again attentive to our needs . . . and patient with our lack of Spanish speaking skills. Again, we did not take advantage of the lunches that they would have provided, but enjoyed their wonderful breakfasts every morning, as well as one dinner prepared at our request. The house was also beautifully maintained and picked up for our return each late afternoon or evening. Aleida, the owner, was also available to answer any questions that we had, as was the English speaking property manager. The location of the house is without peer. Within 1 1/2 blocks of the Jardin, and very near to the action while being very quiet and secluded. The design and decoration of the house are also very special. Three very private bedroom areas gave each couple all the privacy that they might want, while the common areas (particularly the living/dining room that is open to the courtyard, gave ample space for our time together. A second living room and dining room are available, but seldom used because we didn't want to leave the open air living area and large fireplace - perfect for eliminating any early morning or evening chill. In addition to the ample private areas, the Wi-Fi helped those of us who had to do a little work while we were there."
