  • Comfortable, beautiful apartment!

"The apartment is beautiful, comfortable, and, in my opinion, located in the best neighborhood of Guanajuato. It is an easy 10 minute walk to Teatro Juarez and the shops and restaurants in the city center. It is also near my favorite plaza, Mexiamora, it is very safe (I stayed here as a single female and was very comfortable walking around the neighborhood), and there are several nearby stores to buy supplies. My parents, who are in their late 60s/early 70s also stayed here when they came to visit, and even though my mom has issues with her ankle, they were able to walk up and down to the city center without issue. Another plus is that if you need or want to, it is always easy to take a taxi to the apartment, which is not true for many of the rentals in Guanajuato which are in the middle of callejones where cars cannot go. The apartment has a full kitchen, a living area, a bedroom with a comfortable bed, and a bathroom. It also has a balcony, which is great for reading, eating, writing emails, and overlooking the beautiful courtyard and the city below. Gerardo is very hepful and nice, as are the other people who work at the apartment complex. There is plenty of privacy, and I also had the opportunity to meet other interesting travelers who stayed in an apartment. I cannot recommend these apartments enough and I will definitely stay here again when I come back to Guanajuato. Thank you, Gerardo! Nos vemos."

  • What a lovely place!

"My partner and I stayed in this wonderful house for 10 days during the Cervantino Festival. What a wonderful place! Terri, the owner, and Martha, the manager, were available to us even before booking by responding promptly to all our questions. It made for the booking process to be seamless. Martha even arranged with a driver to pick us up to the airport as well as to take us to the airport when was time to leave. The house is exactly as shown and it has all then amenities expected. It was great to be at the street level in an enclosed callejon which made the street very quiet as cars did not go through. The view from the rooftop is phenomenal! It is about 10-15 minutes pleasant walk to Mercado Hidalgo, Plaza de la Reforma, Historic District and other wonderful attractions. We felt safe and cared for."

  • Nice roomy place with a great view of the city

"This was a great place to spend a month and see the sites. It has fiber optic cable and WiFi and It is close to city center, all of the local bus lines and one of the big grocery stores. You will get your hiking in if you stay here but it is worth it."

  • Travel Lust

"Wife, husband, sister and two teenagers stayed for a week. We have stayed in several homes in Guanajuato over the past several years, this will be our go to place now. Unlike many of the older homes in this colonial town that are dark, moist and mildewed this home is light, bright and air with it's open floor plan. We also enjoyed the many patio areas to relax and watch the day go by. The owner could not have been more responsive in setting up our arrival and answer our questions. Like wise the property manager was very helpful and shared his knowledge of the area. We hope to return again soon"
