  • Wonderful Hospitality

"We just returned from a wonderful two weeks at this lovely property, which is just as shown, clean, comfortable and all the necessities to have a great vacation. It also boasts luxuries like a refreshing pool, fantastic outdoor space in the palapa which offers amazing views of the bay and surrounding areas. The beach is nearby and the swimming is great, you can walk for miles or stop at the beach club for a cold one and a great lunch under an umbrella to watch the ships come and go. The public transportation by bus, cab or motor coach for longer distances are close, safe, affordable. Go to Barra Navidad or Melaque for the day, you won't regret it. There are lots of great places to eat and shop. The best thing about the loft is the lady who lives beneath it, Linda. She was a gem, so helpful and generous. We were also fortunate to be able to spend time with Ayelet, Sean and their family, who made us feel so welcome. Our time spent here will be very fondly remembered and we recommend it to anyone who wants to get away from the resorts and enjoy the beautiful country of Mexico."

  • Beautiful, Relaxing and great food!

"We all had a great time. Pablo and Rosa out did themselves. We had excellent meals, beautiful salads that were works of art, on demand yummy margaritas and spotless rooms. The swimming pool with its breath taking views and the huge palapa were our favorite spots. The well tended garden and friendly cat made me smile each morning. We enjoyed the peace and quiet, napping, reading, and a few ventures out shopping and site seeing. The guys went fishing, and brought back fish that Pablo and Rosa turned into a fabulous meal. We all want to return again and again to Casa del sol y la Luna"

  • Perfect vacation!

"I can't say enough about how beautiful this place is, and how lovely our time spent there was. My family (husband, 3 children, grandparents) stayed here for a week and were very comfortable, with every wish being taken care of by the excellent staff. The views off the bedrooms and main living area are stunning, and there was always a gentle ocean breeze. Sunsets are amazing, enjoy the view from the beautiful infinity pool. The estate also has an amazing private beach, with it's own set of showers and pools, as well as a safe, inlet sand beach. We did a day trip to see a little town near an active volcano, and we also enjoyed the little restaurants around Manzanillo. But I agree with another reviewer, there is really no need to ever leave this beautiful home! We loved every minute and wished we could have stayed longer. Definitely hope to go back."

"I have been spending March at El Faro Condominio for the last 10 years, the past three in this two level unit. i have reserved March for years to come in this same unit as it is an ideal top floor unit situated at top-most part of the hill. From its three balconies, you get a 360 view, ocean, mountains, surrounding pueblos below. You can follow, or avoid, the sun all day long by chosing your outside nook. From the condo, there are several walking beaches in both directions ( 5 minutes down the hill) , many unique coffee houses, easy walk to many restauraunts, villages, markets, supermarkets. Going further out, the buses are within minutes, to all destinations, 70 pesos (50 cents). You would be hardpressed to find a place where you would feel safer. The staff, cleaners, groundkeepers are friendly and always helpful. Both the condo and Manzanillo area as a whole are a feel-safe place for a 70ish woman, alone. I have cooked many a wonderful meal in their well-equipped kitchen, gotten caught up in Netflix programs in their entertainment corner, and love waking up to a cool breeze travelling across the room and the sound of ocean waves below. With luck, I hope to have another 20ish March years there, that tells it all!"
