  • Good experience

"it was good. Small one bedroom condo that may accomodate an extra couple of guest. The bed is comfty. There are enough kitchen items for you to cook. It has a washer but no drier. We loved the view. There is a sofa bed for two and a loft with a full bed. The downside , fan in loft very noisy and the water to shower was fresh only but no warm. We did like terrace on top to enjoy all the view and if you want and come prepare you can grill something if you bring your own. It has a small space for cutting and small kitchen sink and enogugh space to relax. The ac unit on bedroom worked great to cool all first floor layout which includes kitchen, loving room and bedroom. The property has a pool and is like 1 and a half blocks from the beach access. Lastly, closeby kiosco convenience store may heIp you get your cooking needs or theres a cofee place just half block distance from place. I do recommend this place, it was just what we needed!"

  • Lovely vacation house - great community and wonderful, friendly people. You will love the people.

"We were so excited to get to Manzanillo and actually see our vacation home. It looked so lovely in the pictures and we were hoping that it would be as good, when we got there. It was so much better than we'd imagined. Right on the beach! We watched the sealife and ships every day while drinking coffee in the morning. We saw dolphins, rays and whales in the bay. Awesome. The palapa was one of our favorite places to be. The pool is so wonderful. Perfect temperature and kept very clean. There is a wrecked ship/concrete directly in front of the house. Great snorkeling but we felt that it maybe made the beach access difficult. We did notice that in front of the houses on either side, the beach access was very easy. Lots of families going in and out of the water with no problems. The house is amazing. We loved it. We did have a few maintenance issues that were being taken care of while we were there. Paul, the owner was there during some of the time that we were there. He is a great guy and he worked very hard to get issues taken care of. We realized that we were in Mexico and expected it to take a while to get things taken care of! Wal Mart and Soriano's are about 2 miles away. Very easy to get to and a taxi was about 1.00. Just walk out to the main street (one block) and get a taxi. Very easy. Maybe 2 blocks away is OXXO (like a 7-11). They have pretty much any essential item you could use (eggs, butter, etc). Taxi at the airport was 515 pesos for the entire taxi. It was 35.00 for entire taxi (not per person) to get back to the airport. It is between 30-40 minutes away. We absolutely loved the house and our vacation and can't wait to return. Thank you Paul! It was great to spend time with you and hope to do it again soon."

  • Great Holiday

"Barra de Navidad is a quaint, interesting, slow old fashioned fishing village well worth a visit. There is no better place to stay for a relaxing holiday than at the Villas Santa Barbara, where Barry and Barbara as hosts will ensure you have every comfort. The villas are well placed enabling access into the village either by a short walk, taxi or a water taxi. After a day in the village it is a delight to jump into the pool and after socialize on the patio either in the sun or the shade of the palapa. Based upon holidaying there for 3 weeks we can strongly recommend this location for a relaxing, worry free holiday."
