  • Family vacation

"We stayed at the condo with our two adult kids and their spouses. The condo more than met our expectations. It was so spacious and allowed privacy for everyone as well as plenty of space to relax. The balcony was amazing with beautiful views. We spent a lot of time out there. The grounds and pools were wonderful. Always a nice choice of chairs by either pool, overlooking the beach, or on the beach. The condo is in a great location to walk anywhere for shopping or dining and a short taxi ride to Zihuatanejo. We have been to ixtapa a number of times and this was the nicest place we've stayed at and would definitely rent again. Dick was great to work with responding quickly to requests for information."

  • Fabulous condo with an amazing view.

"The view took our breath away as we walked into the condo. It is gorgeous! There were six of us and we each had our own bathroom. Beautiful view of city and mountains from two back bedrooms. Condo cools very quickly with a/c in every room but frequently had sliders open to enjoy the open air feel. Had Lilliana cook for us several nights and she is great. Prices in Ixtapa are very reasonable as well as the massages on the beach. Did sunset sail with Picante tours. Though we did not see the sunset due to clouds, we had a great time and would recommend this company. If ever I return to Ixtapa, this is where we will stay!"

  • 🌴Paradise🌴

"Upon entering Amara's gates and immaculate property, to opening the contemporary solid redwood door of the condo that reveals the jaw-dropping view, ( I LOVE those rocks! (The Morros?)) I felt like I was truly on vacation. We had 8 in our party, four couples. Not once, did I feel like we were, "on top of one another." Each couple had their own bath and bedroom all contemporary, clean, and everything we needed. Coming from the Midwest in February, we wanted to be outside. We had a lot of options! We took walks on the beach to a relaxing massage. We basked in the sun, played in the surf noshed at the palapa and cooled off in the fresh water pools. There are also bike/walking trails to the marina and Playa Lynda. As well as day trips to Zihua and Ixtapa Island just a short bus ride away. The local fare just made me feel good. Fresh squeezed juices and smoothies, fruit plates with granola and yogurt. Banana Pancakes, fresh sushi, "Ixtapa shrimp" and "Apache Plates" from local open-air restaurants that are within walking distance. Amara facilitates forgetting all your worries and leaving your cares behind!"

  • Beautiful vacation home in Ixtapa!

"This property is by far one of the nicest in the Ixtapa area. It is very spacious and has two stunning views. It has a nice kitchen which is well-equipped for any cooking you may want to do. The beds are quite comfortable and there are plenty of linens for a family or party of 4. The only thing you need to know to bring is your own toiletries (soap, shampoo, etc). We did not realize this and had to go to the local market to purchase. The pools and beach area are very nice - much cleaner and quieter than the local beaches. There is a restaurant/bar with wait staff that service the pool area. The food was actually quite good! While in the area, we hit many of the Trip Advisor recommendations for dining and were never disappointed. Tostados y Atoles Any, La Terracita, Deborah's, and Emilio's Pizza were all great. I will be dreaming about the coconut ice cream at Any's for a long time. We thoroughly enjoyed our day on Ixtapa Island and loved our lunch at Paraiso Escondido. The owner was very nice and the food was delicious. If we ever get the good fortune to return to the Ixtapa area, we will definitely want to stay at BVG Marina again!"
