  • Bonita Casa Delle Forchette...Bonita Troncones Guerrero, Mexico

"Casa Delle Forchette is worth repeating over and over again. This pristine property, with tranquil privacy, makes you wanting to come back for more. If I had my druthers, I would go back double quick. There is plenty of living space, with a private beach. The location is excellent, the pool is amazing. The constant surf and warm sand speak for itself. The catch of the day can be delivered at your door every morning! Locals are friendly, and horse backing riding on the beach becomes a reality instead of just a great idea-and what a great idea. Be sure to schedule a massage, they come on site. It doesn't get much better than that. Mid week a local band played with dancing, a nice plus for me. Brushing up your Spanish wouldn't hurt-but I no nothing, and got by. Thanks again to the property owners and staff."

  • A truly regenerative vacation!

"La Mariposa was soothing from the moment we stepped out of the car. It's located in a remote, non-touristy, area on the Pacific side of Mexico. A welcome change from Cancun et.al. Shared the house with 8 great friends and remains so! Oscar, Franny, and Elena (the caretakers) made our stay perfect - well kept property. Beach hikes, village visits, and poolside activities (and non-activities) abounded. Watched some very talented surfers every day conquer some very challenging waves. We will be back!"

  • Excellent

"Our stay at Casa De Helen was absolutely without flaw. The property is wonderful and well situated. Its obvious that it is maintained with loving care. This was our first trip to this part of the world, usually traveling to Kauai, we will definitely be back! The pictures do not do justice to the beauty of the beach and home. Book your trip soon, because if I figure out a way to book 52 weeks a year, you will have to stay somewhere else..."

  • Look no further, this place is sure to impress!

"I am actually sitting at one of the glass topped dining tables at Villa Festiva as I write this. I could not wait to write a review. This is my second time (5 years between visits) at this truly beautiful retreat and I am even more impressed with the Villa, the staff, the rooms, the beach, and the warm and wonderful Troncones Village! Since I was here last time, the main roads have been paved and there are more business nearby. Troncones seems to be growing up, and the people could not be lovelier. We are on a ladies trip and I'm watching two of my friends getting massages right down on the beach, aaahhh! The pool is cool and refreshing, very well maintained. The wood in this place is beautiful and the furnishing look new, still! The main kitchen downstairs is a dream to cook in, the range looks out over the ocean, don't burn your dinner, it's easy to get distracted by the beauty! If you don't care to cook, there are lots of restaurants in the village. I love the pizza at Cafe del Sol, and Manzanillo Bay Inn has an amazing menu and killer view while you indulge! Huge, healthy coconut palms line the property and the foliage is more lush and mature than last time we were here. The staff, Angel and his wife Lupita are adorable and very accommodating. They have been on the property for years and know how to take care of the Villa's guests. I am the early bird in our group, so make my coffee in the kitchen right outside on the upstairs balcony. It's a great way to wake up and start my day in paradise! One highlight I really love is releasing the baby leatherback turtles from the nearby turtle nursery. A conservation group collects them after they have been laid and incubates then in a protective pen about 100 yards up the beach until they hatch. Just visit Robertos Bistro and he can tell you when the next sunset beach release will happen. Such a special event! Jeanette, the owner, is a dream to work with and also very accommodating. She works closely with her property manager to make sure your needs are met and your stay is everything you dreamed of! There are a number of places to stay along this beautiful stretch of beach, but Villa Festiva is truly a jewel and I highly recommend it!"
