"My friend and I spent a week in Zihuatanejo and stayed at Punta Punasco. It was fantastic. We thought of it as a piece of heaven. It is bright and clean and had plenty of space for two people. Because it is perched up in the heights above the beach it truly gave us a feeling of peace and awe and beauty; it is true to the photos. It has a stunning panoramic view of the whole area, so we spent quite a bit of the time sitting on the balcony or in the living room. It was also very quiet which was a big plus for us. We did a lot of things on our trip and staying at Deb's condo was a big part of our enjoyment during our vacation. Deb was great and easy to work with. Eloisa, the host/manager, was very warm and friendly. As other guests have stated one does have to be up for the climb up to the condo. We are in our 50s in pretty good shape, so it was fine for us and well worth it. It is close to everything. We walked to the beach or into town. We also took cabs and there's a bus; it's all easy. I will recommend it."

  • Great place, great view!!

"The property manager was wonderful and assisted us with whatever we needed! The view was incredible! So nice to have the air conditioner in the bedroom when we needed to escape the heat- we had great airflow off the water during the day so could leave all the doors open but at night when the wind drops off it was sure nice to have the air conditioner! We didn't have any hot water in the bathroom but as it was so hot outside, it was nice to have a refreshing cool shower so the hot water was not missed. :-) Great location right next to the beach. Lovely friendly people- so hard for us to leave and we can't wait to come back!! Definitely recommend staying here!"

  • Our March 2016 Stay At La Vida

"This is an extraordinary property located a short hike up Mt. Rainier above Playa La Ropa. We joked about the hike everytime we headed home up the hill - walked up about 3 times daily. You can take a taxi but we did't. It is very steep but only takes a few minutes. La Vida is a very nice, almost luxurious, 2 bedroom/2 bath condo located in Casa Zih. The owner, Rich, has expanded the deck into a spacious terrace. Folding glass accordion doors can stay open to the outside, or close during rain or at night. We kept them open almost the entire week. The kitchen is up to date (granite countertops, good fridge, dishwasher) with a small laundry room. The master suite is very comfortable, more secluded, but with the same perfect view. Master closet is spacious. Second bedroom is more cavelike and quiet. The only drawback was the fairly new nightclub Loot with LOUD music almost every night, but never very late except Saturday night until 1:00 am. Accommodation is a short walk to the perfect beach with all sorts of perfect Zihua restaurants where you can sit with your feet in the sand. Downtown is a 15 minute walk ... we went every morning. Panoramic, hilly walk. You can take a taxi back for $2.50 if it is too hot. Case Zih has a great staff and is very secure and safe. It has only 6 units so the infinity pool is never crowded. Owners who were staying there were friendly and nice. Owner Rich gave us lots of tips and is a great person. This is probably the best rental we have ever found on VRBO. Enjoy every minute!"

  • Relaxing in Zihua

"C'est la Vie was exactly as we it expected! The villa was gorgeous and even lovelier than the pictures shown on VRBO. The view of Playa La Ropa was fantastic and could be enjoyed from all vantage points in the condo and from the infinity pool as well. My two sisters and I stayed here for a "sisters" trip and couldn't have been more satisfied. We were so relaxed and comfortable here that it was difficult to motivate ourselves to do anything other than relax at the pool and enjoy each others company. We did, however, venture out to enjoy all that Zihua has to offer. All activities were either a short walk or a short cab ride away - the beach, restaurants, the flea market, as well as ferry rides to Las Gatas and other favorite beach spots. Harriett was a pleasure to interact with and she provided us with a comprehensive guide that helped point us in the right direction for just about anything a traveler in an unfamiliar place would need. Lynda, the property manager, was friendly, attentive and responsive - a true joy. Ensueno 10 had good security and we felt very safe here. If you are gong to Zihua don't miss an opportunity to relax in the beautiful C'est La Vie villa - you won't be disappointed!"
