  • Girls get away, never wanted to leave

"My best friend and I rented out Casa Espiritu February 2014 and have since been back three times. Zihuatanejo is such a hidden paradise and having the luxury of being in your own space, not in a resort, doing everything on your own terms/timing is what makes renting this specific spot so amazing. The moment we got through the security gates into the enclosed neighborhood, we were in awe. We were truly pampered, the cleaning service was amazing, the recommended chef came one night, he prepped and cleaned after service, the food was phenomenal. The beach is super close, same with going into town ( the beach and town are in the same place) , the views from the open living room were glorious at sunrise and sunset. <3 thank you and can't wait for our next annual trip"

  • What a peaceful get-away!

"We really enjoyed our stay at Puesta del Sol. You can't beat the view, we spent most of our time outside on the balcony, or in the infinity pool. The furnishings are in line with traditional Mexico with tile and stucco. The bed headboard is also stucco, so be careful not to bang your head, ouch! There were plenty of birds with their happy chirping. And some kind of bird the other guests called a Mexican Chicken as they tend to wake you up in the morning. We also saw a few gecko lizards and what we hope was gecko poop in various places. We didn't use the kitchen much as this was vacation :-) But there is a smallish propane grill outside that's good for 1 steak or maybe 4 hamburgers. We went with Cowboy Rib-Eye from Mega-Commercial grocery (40 peso taxi ride). Most nights we walked down the hill to Pati's. 2x1 between 5 and 7 pm, dinner and drinks for two was about 225 peso, or I think $13 USD. You can't beat that! Also the grilled snapper was outstanding (180 pesos), it's 'whole fish' so the head and fins are still attached (not something I'm used to). You pass the taxi stand on the way back, or just work off your dinner and walk back up the hill. The driveway and parking lot are a bit bumpy for thongs. We learned to take the stairs next to the first pool, walk down the driveway to the guard, then take the stairs to the stree. We will keep this place on our list and hopefully return some day."

  • Beautiful beach retreat

"We had a wonderful stay at Casa Blanca. The view truly can't be beat. The place is open, airy, and set up for great views of the ocean from almost everywhere in the condo. We greatly enjoyed swimming and laying beside the infinity pools on the property. It's a great location to get to playa de la ropa and also to walk into Zihua. Sally was a very helpful and attentive host. Definitely recommend a stay here!"
