  • Perfect Holiday

"We stayed here November 2015 and had an amazing time! This condo has the best of both worlds, a fully equipped kitchen to cook your own meals and a restaurant onsite when you just don't feel like cooking! This condo unit/building and it's amenities work really well for families or travelers who need a break from the buffets of the all inclusives. We used the BBQ almost everyday to cook dinner and ate outside enjoying the sunset. The rooms and bathrooms in the condo were large and modern. There was a large blanket/pillow/towel selection so everyone was happy. We really enjoyed out stay in the condo and at MVG marina and would highly recommend it!!"

  • What a peaceful get-away!

"We really enjoyed our stay at Puesta del Sol. You can't beat the view, we spent most of our time outside on the balcony, or in the infinity pool. The furnishings are in line with traditional Mexico with tile and stucco. The bed headboard is also stucco, so be careful not to bang your head, ouch! There were plenty of birds with their happy chirping. And some kind of bird the other guests called a Mexican Chicken as they tend to wake you up in the morning. We also saw a few gecko lizards and what we hope was gecko poop in various places. We didn't use the kitchen much as this was vacation :-) But there is a smallish propane grill outside that's good for 1 steak or maybe 4 hamburgers. We went with Cowboy Rib-Eye from Mega-Commercial grocery (40 peso taxi ride). Most nights we walked down the hill to Pati's. 2x1 between 5 and 7 pm, dinner and drinks for two was about 225 peso, or I think $13 USD. You can't beat that! Also the grilled snapper was outstanding (180 pesos), it's 'whole fish' so the head and fins are still attached (not something I'm used to). You pass the taxi stand on the way back, or just work off your dinner and walk back up the hill. The driveway and parking lot are a bit bumpy for thongs. We learned to take the stairs next to the first pool, walk down the driveway to the guard, then take the stairs to the stree. We will keep this place on our list and hopefully return some day."

  • 50th birthday fun!

"What a perfect place to bring a group of friends to celebrate a 50th birthday. We had 13 in our party and couldn't get enough of the views, the staff, the food, the sunshine and the beautiful property. One of the highlights of the trip was Henry. He is a a relatively new member of the amazing staff. Henry spent many years cooking in restaurants in America before coming to Spyglass. He was so incredibly talented, preparing delicious lunches and dinners (every meal was elaborate, tasty and mowed down by our group) every day. Seafood, Mexican, Italian, the sailfish we caught - everything was perfect. We loved how well we were cared for by all the staff and will miss them greatly. The staff catered to our every need. We had a well-stocked bar, but they also took special requests. They even brought in a massage therapist for massages, manicures and pedicures. We felt comfortable and safe the entire time. We will also miss the two gorgeous pools, very comfortable rooms, spectacular sunsets enjoyed from countless viewpoints, tasty cocktails and many fun excursions that the staff drove us to experience (including a baby turtle release!). There's no question that we will be back and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for the perfect Mexican villa vacation."

"My friend and I spent a week in Zihuatanejo and stayed at Punta Punasco. It was fantastic. We thought of it as a piece of heaven. It is bright and clean and had plenty of space for two people. Because it is perched up in the heights above the beach it truly gave us a feeling of peace and awe and beauty; it is true to the photos. It has a stunning panoramic view of the whole area, so we spent quite a bit of the time sitting on the balcony or in the living room. It was also very quiet which was a big plus for us. We did a lot of things on our trip and staying at Deb's condo was a big part of our enjoyment during our vacation. Deb was great and easy to work with. Eloisa, the host/manager, was very warm and friendly. As other guests have stated one does have to be up for the climb up to the condo. We are in our 50s in pretty good shape, so it was fine for us and well worth it. It is close to everything. We walked to the beach or into town. We also took cabs and there's a bus; it's all easy. I will recommend it."
