"My friend and I spent a week in Zihuatanejo and stayed at Punta Punasco. It was fantastic. We thought of it as a piece of heaven. It is bright and clean and had plenty of space for two people. Because it is perched up in the heights above the beach it truly gave us a feeling of peace and awe and beauty; it is true to the photos. It has a stunning panoramic view of the whole area, so we spent quite a bit of the time sitting on the balcony or in the living room. It was also very quiet which was a big plus for us. We did a lot of things on our trip and staying at Deb's condo was a big part of our enjoyment during our vacation. Deb was great and easy to work with. Eloisa, the host/manager, was very warm and friendly. As other guests have stated one does have to be up for the climb up to the condo. We are in our 50s in pretty good shape, so it was fine for us and well worth it. It is close to everything. We walked to the beach or into town. We also took cabs and there's a bus; it's all easy. I will recommend it."

  • Amazing Condo in Paradise

"Our family of five (3 adult children) just returned from a week's stay in this condo. It was our first trip to Zihuatanejo and our first time outside of an all-inclusive resort. We all agreed it was a GREAT vacation because we got to experience the wonderful culture of Zihua. We have taken several vacations to Mexico and this condo - from the veranda with comfy furniture for all of us to enjoy, to the beautiful home décor and furnishings - was the best accommodations we have had thus far on any vacation. From sun up to sun down, our family thoroughly enjoyed the 180 degree views of La Ropa Beach, especially the lightening shows at night. Falling asleep every night to the sound of the surf was another highlight of this trip. The condo was outfitted with everything you could need - kitchen appliances and utensils, bathroom and laundry supplies, A/C and ceiling fans, and even bogie boards which we used one day at the beach! As others have mentioned, the beach is only a five minute walk, yet the return trip includes a short hike uphill. (We just considered this our chance to burn a few margarita calories. If you don't want to walk, there are numerous taxis stationed at the bottom of the hill.) At La Ropa Beach we enjoyed several fun happy hours, a morning beach massage ($15/hour!), and numerous beach activities (jet skiing, parasailing, etc.). We also took a short water taxi ride to Las Gatos Beach to snorkel and swim one day and spent numerous hours in the beautiful infinity pools on site. Watching the sun set over the ocean while in the pool was a nice treat. You also won't go hungry staying in this unit. There were numerous restaurants within walking distance, including our family's favorite - Il Mare (Italian/Mediterranean)! Guest Services at the complex also arranged for a local woman to cook a Mexican meal for our family one night - chicken enchiladas, shrimp tacos, rice and beans, and mango salsa. It was delicious and a fun experience...and we got to practice our Spanish. We would definitely recommend this rental. Susan was great to work with and made us feel at ease with our decision to stay outside of a large resort. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home and giving us some great memories! We can't wait to come back."

  • Great Holiday Escape!

"Perched just high enough to afford the most beautiful views and the best ocean breezes, the position of this condo is outstanding. It is spacious, very well cared for and has all of the amenities. Focal point for us was the great outdoor living space……a very large terrace with comfortable lounging, basket swings, spa pool, TV (did not use much) and the most spectacular views. The owner and his assistant made it easy right from the beginning...very responsive and genuinely wanted us to enjoy ourselves. His suggestions for restaurants were excellent as well as other information in his welcome packet. We especially enjoyed Bistro del Mar, went there twice. Zihua was a seafood haven....excellent and beautifully prepared everywhere we ate. Dulce, the housekeeper, welcomed us and gave us the tour of the condo, generally made herself available to us. And her husband, Fernando, drove us where we needed to go. Do have Dulce make you a dinner or two and a breakfast as well……all were terrific. We did not need a rental car; cabs were plentiful and inexpensive. We had a fantastic, relaxing couple of weeks and would happily return to this condo."

  • The Best!

"My daughter, granddaughter and I had the most wonderful week at C'Est La Ve and Zihuantanejo (no one wanted to leave!). Everything was as described and better! Harriet's guide was invaluable-we used it every day.. So many choices, so little time. Lynda was delightful and we really enjoyed getting to know her. We'd like to thank the gracious, fun loving, beautiful people of Mexico for being so warm and welcoming. All the reviews are spot on. Go ahead and book it, you'll love C'Est La Vie."
