  • So relaxing, our new home in Mexico

"We enjoyed 14 days in Villas Los Arcos, the apartment with full kitchen and it was wonderful. Pros: the bed was very comfortable, the apartment stays cool enough you don't have to have the a.c. on all the time, it's roomy, close to the beach and food (Rossy's great for breakfast and drinks), Nancy is accommodating and informative, the apartment is very clean, pool is large for the size of the facility, we always had a chair. Cons: keep in mind this is an apartment and not a condo. There are the basics for meal cooking (pots, pans, dishes) but you will need to buy condiments, spices if you plan to cook. Remember the Mexican plumbing doesn't allow TP, the hot water is 'm demand' so it takes a while to get enough for a shower. This property is a healthy walk to town, 40 minutes at a strong pace. Busses don't run later in the evening, so cabs are your transportation. I would recommend this property for couples, even seniors and I would return in a heart beat"

  • A Hidden Gem! Amazing place to stay and visit.

"This was my second stay at Casa Alas. My husband and two other couples stayed here a year ago and had the most amazing seven days, at which time I decided to celebrate my 70th. birthday at Casa Alas with my girlfriends. The home is beautifully appointed with great art and special touches throughout the house. The views are amazing, especially when the sun goes down over the bay. Every morning having a cup of coffee and then cocktails in the evening around the infinity pool was a daily routine. One of the best features was the super quick walk to the best beach in Zihuatanejo where you could sun, swim and take walks or have cocktails and dinner. We even had Veronica come in and prepare some wonderful Mexican dishes which were fabulous! I could go on and on but let me just say I have recommended Casa Alas to all my friends. We absolutely love it!!!"

  • Loved Villa Preciosa!

"Thank you, Jeanne for letting us stay at your beautiful condo! We love Zihautanejo, so we were out and about exploring everyday, but it was great to start and end our day with the beautiful views from your terrace. The bedrooms and bathrooms were roomy and comfortable. We only used the kitchen to mix a few cocktails, as the restaurants in Zihua are so good! We enjoyed taking a late afternoon dip in the infinity pool, where a few other guests would gather and visit with us as we watched the boats in the bay. We loved your taste in decorating, also. Everything was so nicely put together. Everyday we got up early and walked into town for breakfast, which was easy to do even with the hills. Coming back at days end was usually in a taxi, tho'! Even though our Spanish is limited, I could always tell the taxi drivers where to go and they always would say, "Si, Villa Precisoa". My only complaint is that we couldn't stay longer - darn work still gets in the way of fun! Hopefully we can stay at your place again. It truly is a beautiful condo. Thanks, again! • Doesn't get any better...

"This was our second stay here and we can't say enough about how wonderful it is. Owner & property manager are both professional, responsive and friendly. It's a small complex, set up on the hill overlooking the bay. The view, which is second to none can be enjoyed from master bedroom, kitchen, living/dining room and the accordion door/window wall opens the whole space up to provide the ultimate in indoor/outdoor living. Climb the hill from the beach and slip right into the infinity pool to cool off and relax while looking back at the bay below. Other renters and owners that we have met have always been like minded - mature, quiet & respectful. There are lots of restaurants to walk to or a cab will cost you a few dollars to almost anywhere. Given the option of staying on the beach or here...I would always stay here - without hesitation."
