  • Amazing view and very relaxing

"Simply perfect! We had a more than wonderful stay at this lovely condo. The house is situated at the green and lush south-side of the bay and really has amazing views. The large terras is very private and we often sunbathed here. The shared pool is very nice and has warm, relaxing slightly salty water. We often were the only ones using it, jumping in straight back from the beach. All rooms have airco and are spacious and clean. All bedrooms have a private bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped and functional, with most appliances available. The only thing missing is a charcoal bbq, but in town at the paseo del pescador you can eat great grilled steaks an fish (or buy them fresh in the morning). If you stay for a longer period the caretakers can provide you with large drinking water bottles. The beach is just a small walk down, but it's a steep way. Just below the stairs at the beach there are stalls with the best (and very affordable) seafood we've ever eaten. Zihuatanejo has nice restaurants, great charm and is really village like, on Friday night the locals gather together at the basketball-court and enjoy small town acts (clowns, dancing, food and bingo) and fun. But our side of the bay is more quiet, day and night. At night the City lights in the distance look like a beautiful diamond broche. We often slept with the curtains open to enjoy this amazing view. Taxi rides into town cost virtually nothing and we had great friendly experiences with drivers helping to put our large packs in and on the car and always a nice suggestion for a good beach or restaurant nearby. The center/market is easily reached by taxi (or bus, just below the condo) and great to buy bread and all your daily food. The large 'Commercial Mexicana' (Pelican), with Mexican and European/American food (great meat!) and the busterminal next to it, are also easily reached in a ten minute taxi ride. We also got our Padi diving certificates here (at Dive Zihua, instructor Pako is great with kids) and everything worked like clockwork. Hans (owner) is a great guy and our email contact worked perfectly. We would definitely recommend you to stay at this lovely place and hope to visit it again some day ourselves."

  • Great apartment, great location, great place

"Well-equipped apartment overlooking Zihua Bay - easy walking to Centro and La Ropa Beach - good restaurants nearby. Just about perfect. The pool was very nice to cool off in the afternoon (other times too).. Apartment well appointed and well kept. Carmen was always available and made us feel welcome. We would definitely return and recommend this rental to others."
