  • Superb home, spectacular view, perfect location

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Amarilla in the intriguing La Madera neighborhood. From the lofty height of the top floor, one has one of the most spectacular, breathtaking 360º view I have ever seen - with the bay and harbor to the south and the city of Zihuatanejo and the mountains above it to the north. It is an easy and interesting walk down stone steps to the beach and well located near downtown and many excellent restaurants. The layout is perfect for two couples. The home is immaculate, tastefully designed, architecturally pleasing and has gorgeous gardens. The weather was perfect, sunny and warm, in mid-December, 2016, as it was during our January visits several years ago. The two large master bedroom suites on the 2nd floor and the wonderful open air 3rd floor, with its lofty tile and thatch roof, is spacious and well appointed. After being out and about all day, spending the evening on the 3rd floor with its comfortable living room, dinning room, and fully-equipped kitchen (plus convenient half bath) was the perfect way to end the day. The beds were most comfortable and having both overhead fans and air condition provided versatility. The manager was very helpful and gracious and the neighbors were very friendly. Casa Amarilla provides an excellent value for the price."

  • Casa d'Arte is a fantastic complex!

"A beautiful and spacious 2 bedroom condo. A large patio with great views of the beach and bay. The furnishings are comfortable . Kitchen is well supplied with dishes, etc. The infinity pools are beautiful and a great place to meet people from the complex. The beach and several restaurants are within reasonable walking distance and the town easily accessible by taxi. The property managers Eliezer and Dolce were always very helpful. Maid device was was very good. The driveway to the complex is steep and quite long; that is why the view from the condo is terrific! Anyone with a walking impediment has to take a taxi, at reasonable cost, to get to and from the complex. We have visited thee locations in Mexico. This was our first time in Zihuatanejo; it is by far our favorite! Edie and Tony Schori Peachland, British Columbia"

  • Doesn't get any better...

"This was our second stay here and we can't say enough about how wonderful it is. Owner & property manager are both professional, responsive and friendly. It's a small complex, set up on the hill overlooking the bay. The view, which is second to none can be enjoyed from master bedroom, kitchen, living/dining room and the accordion door/window wall opens the whole space up to provide the ultimate in indoor/outdoor living. Climb the hill from the beach and slip right into the infinity pool to cool off and relax while looking back at the bay below. Other renters and owners that we have met have always been like minded - mature, quiet & respectful. There are lots of restaurants to walk to or a cab will cost you a few dollars to almost anywhere. Given the option of staying on the beach or here...I would always stay here - without hesitation."

  • Great Casa! Great Location!

"Stayed at Mona's Casa from Dec 28/16 - Jan 6/17. There was was 3 of us but the casa can easily accommodate 3 couple comfortably. It was exactly as described, We could not have stayed any where nicer. Lots of room great amenities and the view from the terrace was spectacular! Olga was there to tidy up for us every other day as we had requested. The casa is a short 5 minute down hill walk to la Ropa beach and consequently a steep climb back but easily done and relaxed pace. Lots of restaurants with in walking distance. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone and I look fwd to returning in the near future! Thanks Mona!"
