  • Perfect condo for a perfect vacation

"Janis was terrific to deal with, she was prompt and informative with each question. Janis had Alberto great us upon arrival and ensure we were familiar with all the amenities of the condo and the surrounding area. The bonus was the liquid refreshments waiting in the fridge, perfectly timed after a long day of travel. The condo is located on ground level for easy access whether with groceries or items for the beach/pool. The condo was equipped with everything that you may need for your stay. Internet service was terrific with no interruptions at all. The location of Los Mangos is great for accessibility to the Playa La Ropa beach where chairs, umbrellas and food/drinks are available at La Perla restaurant. The security staff at Las Mangos are also terrific embassadors, providing directions, information and taxis. A great stay, loved Janis,s condo and would not hesitate to spend another vacation in her condo. Thanks Janis for a great vacation"

"We had a family reunion and stayed at this beautiful condo above La Ropa beach...it exceeded our expectations...every detail was taken care of...and the detail to design and decorating was just wonderful and the views were breathtaking...every morning my husband and I would walk to the beach, one of our favorites, and marvel at the beauty of this area...Olga came every two days to clean, freshen the bedding and delivery new towels...she also cooked for us and we felt totally pampered by the experience...one family member was not able to negotiate the stairs to the pool and beach but we had rented a car and there was no problem taking them to both areas...restaurants abound and Zihuatanejo is so charming we can't wait to return...thanks Mona for all your efforts to make our stay memorable."

  • Awesome view of LaRopa Beach and very nice unit

"We just spent a month in mexico staying in several places on east and west coast. This complex has a great view of the LaRopa beach and ocean with two pools that overlook the ocean. It is very well equipped with absolutely everything you would need including washer and dryer which we were glad to have. The unit and property were very well taken care of and communication was great. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to go and really appreciate the opportunity to stay in your home and hope many others get the opportunity. The people in the entire area are absolutely the MOST friendly and truly good people, the people alone are worth the journey. Thanks again for letting us use your unit at such a GREAT VALUE"

  • What a peaceful get-away!

"We really enjoyed our stay at Puesta del Sol. You can't beat the view, we spent most of our time outside on the balcony, or in the infinity pool. The furnishings are in line with traditional Mexico with tile and stucco. The bed headboard is also stucco, so be careful not to bang your head, ouch! There were plenty of birds with their happy chirping. And some kind of bird the other guests called a Mexican Chicken as they tend to wake you up in the morning. We also saw a few gecko lizards and what we hope was gecko poop in various places. We didn't use the kitchen much as this was vacation :-) But there is a smallish propane grill outside that's good for 1 steak or maybe 4 hamburgers. We went with Cowboy Rib-Eye from Mega-Commercial grocery (40 peso taxi ride). Most nights we walked down the hill to Pati's. 2x1 between 5 and 7 pm, dinner and drinks for two was about 225 peso, or I think $13 USD. You can't beat that! Also the grilled snapper was outstanding (180 pesos), it's 'whole fish' so the head and fins are still attached (not something I'm used to). You pass the taxi stand on the way back, or just work off your dinner and walk back up the hill. The driveway and parking lot are a bit bumpy for thongs. We learned to take the stairs next to the first pool, walk down the driveway to the guard, then take the stairs to the stree. We will keep this place on our list and hopefully return some day."
