  • Couldn't have picked a better place!!!!!

"We had never used VRBO so we're a little tentative, pictures and people often aren't what they appear. Not so with Barb and Barry! Barb was quick to respond to any questions I had and super pleasant to deal with via email and phone. When our party of 4 arrived we were welcomed with a wonderful meal in the penthouse suite which is very comfortable, has a great view of the surrounding area and gives a little more privacy if desired. Barb and Barry were full of great information, suggestions and so relaxed and comfortable to talk to, they are definitely in the right business. Villa Santa Barbara is conveniently located within walking distance to town or by taking the boat right from the doc. Mornings were spent watching fishermen head out to sea from the canal while waiting on the beautiful sunrise. Then it was fresh pasties delivered every morning to our dock. It was a relaxing, worry free holiday and one I would recommend to anyone. A little more expensive than a lot of places we looked at but the motto " you get what you pay for" definitely applied. Loved it. Thanks for everything."

  • Great House & Location.

"We just returned from a 2 month stay in this lovely home in Barra De Navidad. This home is exactly as pictured. The kitchen is fully equipped, bed linens and towels were provided. The home is very secure and safe. The home has ceiling fans in every room and no AC is needed. There is always a nice breeze flowing through the home. The pool area is nice and very private. The home is in a very nice neighborhood and close to shopping and restaurants. Cathy & Rick, the local property managers are just a phone call away if you have any questions. I would not hesitate to recommend this home to anyone."

  • Great B & B that goes the extra mile

"This was our first trip to Barra de Navidad, Mexico. Paradise is so much closer than you think! A short flight into Manzanillo and our host Alan was able to meet us at the airport and drive us the short ½ hour scenic drive to the Casa located on the canals in Barra. Once we got there, our hostess, Karen had a lovely welcome snack of a traditional Mexican favorite, handcut Pico de Gallo and tortilla chips. That and a refreshing drink were exactly the way to start our stay. We were lucky enough to stay in the Canal Room which opened out to the upper Palapa and overlooks the canal. This beautifully appointed room had air conditioning available but it was not necessary as the breezes cool your room perfectly at night. It, like all the rooms each have a full bath in suite, so you never feel like you have to share more than you’d like to. We were shown the other rooms available to guests which were equally lovely and the apartment with its own full kitchen available for rent. We found that dining out in Barra is affordable, so even though we had a great cooking area in the upper Palapa, we mostly tried different local restaurants and bars. Yes, we even did sunset (time of day) at Sunset (bar), which arguably has the best margaritas in town. Mornings were delightful. Alan and Karen put out a variety of fresh fruits, granola, and yoghurt each day, along with toasted bagels and English muffins for breakfast. The most difficult part about this time of day was to decide what to do. One afternoon Alan and Karen took us out on their boat and we enjoyed the sights by water. Another afternoon, Alan took Len out in the hills to explore the areas haciendas while Karen and I took in some shopping. Then there were the days we enjoyed reading and napping by the pool. The common areas on the main floor are comfortable and really reflect the owners diverse and exciting backgrounds. I cannot forget to mention the most gracious of our hosts, Lobo the dog, Diego the cat and McIver the parrot. Our experience at Casa Seafever was restorative and relaxing, just like a newfound home away from home."

"What a great home to stay on Vacation. All the amenities are close by and town center is only 10 minutes away. The pool is a savior on hot days! Well stocked kitchen and space for everyone."
