  • Superb Vacation Condominium

"This fantastic condo is within walking distance of everything that you would need. We didn't cook at all while there but if you would desire to do this, all items needed are within an arm's reach. Excellent stove and full size fridge with freezer. Wine refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven and toaster too. Cooking utensils, cutlery, plates, cups and more. Large dining table with 6 chairs. Maid service daily (she was great, tip her well if you are ever there). Newly renovated reception area (little downside that they were doing it while we were there, tile is noisy when it is being sawed) but it looks like it will be beautiful when completed. The two king size beds, one in each air conditioned bedroom, are very comfortable. Plenty of pillows, sheets, covers, etc. Enough closet and drawer space for about 10 people (NO, sorry, you can't bring 9 friends). The living area is very bright due to 3 large sliding glass doors. Never needed more than to just open them along with the front door for cross breezes that made it comfortable. Nice wrought iron gates before the front door that can be locked so no need to worry when the front door is open. Two bathrooms that were very nice and stocked with plenty of towels along with beach towels. The maid service takes care of these too. Washer and dryer in the basement that can be rented for about a dollar per hour. The pool on the roof is perfect, with outstanding views and plenty of lounge chairs. There's also a covered area if you want to be up there but out of the sun. At most, there were only 6 or 7 others using it the week that we were there. Sometimes it was like our own private pool. I'm sure that other times of the year that would not be the case but it is still not to be overlooked. The last item that I will mention is the super long wrap-around balcony. Plenty of chairs and a table that can seat 3. We were fortunate to catch a beautiful sunset every night before going out to one of the many restaurants that are within short walking distances, in fact the Sea Monkey Restaurant is below the complex. The restaurant is definitely not upscale but great for a burger, quick nacho snack or breakfast. It also has a bar if that suits your needs. If you get the chance to rent this condominium, make sure that you treat it well, just as if it were your own."

  • Great location, great value!

"What a wonderful property for so many different reasons! Among the highlights..... 1) Layout - the condo is on the second floor of a 6 floor building. It is spacious, nicely decorated, and has the amenities that make a good vacation great (e.g., washer / dryer, full kitchen, water-cooler size jug of drinking water, etc.). There are lots of beach towels provided, so one less bulky thing to pack or buy. The TV is small and does have cable, although it's mostly Mexican cable channels. The wireless Internet works well, but note that the range is limited and works best in the living room / dining room / kitchen areas. There are also two wired phones provided for free calls - one for calls within Mexico, and a Vonage phone for calls to the US. Both were of great use to us when making extended calls to airlines to change travel arrangements. 2) Location - the condo building is accessible via a wide alley off a somewhat busy street. It is completely safe, and being off the main street means far less traffic noise. There is a security gate to access the stairwell, so random people cannot get into the building easily. Los Muertos beach is less than a 5-minute walk away. There are 3 small convenience stores on 3 successive street corners walking North on the main street - any of them will have what you are looking for (although I recommend the Oxxo on the 3rd corner). There are numerous restaurants along the beach and elsewhere in the Romantic Zone. The Rio Cuale shopping area is a 5 minute taxi ride or 15 minute walk at a normal pace. 3) Other Benefits - on the roof of the building, there is a small but nice pool along with several lounge chairs. There are good views of the bay, and it's a great place to get some sun without the sand. There is also a bar (unstocked) with bar stools, and a bathroom. Take a look around in the condo, especially in the cabinets, etc., before buying anything...the pantry in the kitchen has lots of sunscreen and some basic medial items, as well as some games (Uno, Chess, Backgammon, etc.). In the bathrooms, you will find shower gel and shampoo, hand soap, etc. Lastly, but certainly not least, the building manager Guillermo (Memo for short) is available 24x7 for any issues or questions. He is one of the nicest people around, and takes the time to make sure everything is right. His wife is also the housekeeper and does a fabulous job. In short, you will have a hard time finding a better value for your money!"

  • superb quality for an excellent price

"I rented this place for a week. The owner's response was prompt and informative. Upon my arrival I was greeted by a local manager, who was accommodating and punctual. The pace had the minimum amenities one would expect at a resort destination like PV. The bed was comfortable, the bedroom was away from the hustle and bustle of the street and the nightlife. The place was tastefully decorated and clean. I enjoyed climbing a few steps to earn those calories that are in abundance at fantastic restaurants and diners in Puerto Vallarta. Terri, thank you for this experience and your hospitality. It was a privilege. KM"

  • Spacious condo

"My husband and I stayed in this beautifully furnished condo for two months. We loved it. The weather was perfect as well. It is so close to everything in the old town you do not need a car. It was cleaned every week by Betty who was very good."
