  • Perfect !

"Great location and great property I think most people will be familiar with the Icon. Ideally situated close to the marina end of PV. So good access to shopping, restaurants, airport etc . . . and still Los Muertos is inexpensive taxis or bus ride away. What makes this 5 stars is the people you are working with. Margit the owner and Leo Aldana the property manager. Everything was on time, professional and thoughtful. The unit itself was well setup and we lacked for nothing. A really big plus is having the Sorriana only 5 min walk away - nice."

  • Great option for families

"We had a wonderful stay in the condo over the holidays. The property was very secure and safe. We had 5 adults and 2 children and there was plenty of space for everyone. The pools were great - lots of options and great for kids. It was easy access to the beach and we enjoyed a number of activities - jet ski & para-sailing. The pool bar/restaurant was great. It is cash only, but they will run a tab for the day so that you can settle up at the end. We knew most of the servers by the end of the week. I would recommend utilizing the cook/paying to have the kitchen stocked prior to your visit. We didn't and ended up with a number of trips to the grocery store because we kept forgetting items. The kitchen is pretty well stocked as far as cookware, tableware, etc. The only thing that we missed was a good sharp knife - we had a really hard time cutting tomatoes for our salsa :) We walked across the street on a couple of nights - there is a restaurant complex. Crossing the street was a bit hairy, but once you got the hang of the signals, you just had to be bold. The restaurant complex has a high-end Argentinian restaurant, a couple of bars, an Italian restaurant and a Taco restaurant. All in all, this was a great vacation and we will be back."

  • Great location, great value!

"What a wonderful property for so many different reasons! Among the highlights..... 1) Layout - the condo is on the second floor of a 6 floor building. It is spacious, nicely decorated, and has the amenities that make a good vacation great (e.g., washer / dryer, full kitchen, water-cooler size jug of drinking water, etc.). There are lots of beach towels provided, so one less bulky thing to pack or buy. The TV is small and does have cable, although it's mostly Mexican cable channels. The wireless Internet works well, but note that the range is limited and works best in the living room / dining room / kitchen areas. There are also two wired phones provided for free calls - one for calls within Mexico, and a Vonage phone for calls to the US. Both were of great use to us when making extended calls to airlines to change travel arrangements. 2) Location - the condo building is accessible via a wide alley off a somewhat busy street. It is completely safe, and being off the main street means far less traffic noise. There is a security gate to access the stairwell, so random people cannot get into the building easily. Los Muertos beach is less than a 5-minute walk away. There are 3 small convenience stores on 3 successive street corners walking North on the main street - any of them will have what you are looking for (although I recommend the Oxxo on the 3rd corner). There are numerous restaurants along the beach and elsewhere in the Romantic Zone. The Rio Cuale shopping area is a 5 minute taxi ride or 15 minute walk at a normal pace. 3) Other Benefits - on the roof of the building, there is a small but nice pool along with several lounge chairs. There are good views of the bay, and it's a great place to get some sun without the sand. There is also a bar (unstocked) with bar stools, and a bathroom. Take a look around in the condo, especially in the cabinets, etc., before buying anything...the pantry in the kitchen has lots of sunscreen and some basic medial items, as well as some games (Uno, Chess, Backgammon, etc.). In the bathrooms, you will find shower gel and shampoo, hand soap, etc. Lastly, but certainly not least, the building manager Guillermo (Memo for short) is available 24x7 for any issues or questions. He is one of the nicest people around, and takes the time to make sure everything is right. His wife is also the housekeeper and does a fabulous job. In short, you will have a hard time finding a better value for your money!"

  • Breathtaking!

"My husband and I stayed at the Hansen's beautiful Condo for 10 days and thoroughly enjoyed it! We had just a few minor "speed bumps" but Dale was very attentive and got things done for us quickly. The view is spectacular and we really enjoyed sunsets/breakfasts on the patio. Its location is nice if you want to take a walk to the Marina or just go to dinner next door at the Velas Vallarta. You can catch the bus close by if you want to do some sightseeing or going to the Malecon. The pools were well maintained and the grounds were beautiful. We liked the fact that it was very secure. Having a laundry room was an added extra. We love BVG! The people we met were all very nice!"
