  • Exceptional views and pool

"The property was as described-spacious, plenty of room for up to five to sleep and comfortable. The view was stunning and could be enjoyed from the large veranda. The pool is quite large and generally well maintained. It's warmed by solar and was always over 80 degrees. The owner responded quickly when we had a question through email and left good instructions for using the appliances and water system. There was also a gardener who came twice a week and responded whenever we had a problem. The bus stop is nearby and we did not have a car so we found it convenient to take buses and taxis into Ajijic but our favorite restaurant was very close by-Viva Mexico as was the Tuesday organic market and the quirky graveyard-all worth seeing. The kitchen is mostly well supplied with very basic dishes and other tableware. Linens and outdoor furniture were a bit shabby. The washer and dryer, internet connection, showers and stove all worked well. Overall, it is a very comfortable holiday destination and mostly quite quiet and completely secure."

  • San Antonio Mexico at it's best!

"We are used to proper greetings, but this was the best. The hosts "Shanny" and Charis are as earthy and direct and organized as we could ever hope for. We wanted to see this part of Mexico, and thru them, we experienced it. They know the area thru the eyes of world travelers, and helped us experience as much as possible in our short stay. We will go back for a two week stay. The hosts and the surroundings are A+."

  • Great place to stay in the Lake Chapala area

"The house was super. It's clean and comfortable. We swam in the neighborhood pool every day. Tennis lessons with the local pros, Carlos and Willy, are fun and affordable. This isn't a great place to stay with kids if your kids are hoping to find others to play with, since the population at the clubhouse is definitely elderly. It's also a long drive to Ajijic."

  • A Little Piece of Heaven

"Sadly, our stay will soon be at an end in Lori and John's house in lower Chula Vista near Ajijic. Lori has done an exceptional job in decorating the house. There are beautiful designer touches everywhere, splashes of color, and the garden is an extension of her artistic eye with its many types of flowering plants. We sit on the patio for hours each day and never tire of the beauty in front of us, nor the birds flitting here and there. The beds are wonderfully comfortable, the kitchen well equipped, the furniture of a high quality and the bonus is the gardener and housekeeper, both delightful people who made our stay effortless. We'd certainly return and recommend this home to our friends. And, by the way, shopping is within an easy walking distance and the bus to Ajijic or Chapala runs close by every 20 minutes. We've managed splendidly without a car."
