  • Beautiful Place, Great Service

"It was a pleasure for my family to stay here for a week. It is beautiful, well appointed (had everything we needed in the kitchen), and in a great location. The pool is ideal. Great patios. The house manager, Javier, was friendly, available and helpful. Everything is clean and well maintained. Would recommend it!"

  • Thankyou Dave and Cher.

"We liked living in a residerntial Mexican neighbourhood . Shopping for groceries locally and being part of the town. A nice walk to the beautiful bay and many restaurants. A very picturisque town that did not seem overly touristy with no issues of safety. We enjoyed the Thursday market, activities and music in the square. Our apartment in the hacienda style home was perfect....roomy, well equipped and tastefully decorated in Mexican style. Helpful, friendly, generous hosts completed our enjoyable holiday."

  • Mexican Vacation at its Best

"We have stayed in this perfect holiday home 5 winter holidays. It has everything you need to make your Mexican vacation the best - we keep coming back - we started with 2 weeks & have stayed as long as 3 months. You don't need a car in this location - downtown Barra de Navidad is a short stroll as are the grocery, butcher & fish stores. Bus will take you to the next town, but we ride the bikes. I can't wait to go back - we use the pool every day - the service man & the house cleaner are super & always so helpful. Worth every penny."

  • Comfortable Seclusion

"Casa Coco was a perfect fit for our group of six adults. The property is perfectly located at the end of a secluded beach near the resort. Neighbors are sparse, so the place really feels like you have paradise to yourself. It's a short drive to a boat launch to get to Barra or a slightly longer drive around the peninsula. I've always stayed in town in the past, which is it's own great experience, but Casa Coco offers a very different experience: it is seclusion at it's very best. You can opt in to town activities when you want, but otherwise have paradise to yourself at the house. The rooms were well appointed and the beds were super comfortable after long days of swimming, lounging and adventuring. The kitchen has everything you need to make great meals. The shared spaces in the house are perfect for spreading out. Between the poolside deck, second floor balcony and rooftop deck, there's a lot of space to relax, watch the stars, sunrises and sunsets and enjoy the peace. Lisa was a great a host and made the whole process a breeze, and the property manager was always accessible. One thing we didn't realize at first was that the area is subject to brown outs, so we were without power for periods of time, which was actually just fine all of us, as it allowed us to relax and enjoy a drink by the pool. As others have noted, the surf is very rough by the house, so absolutely no swimming there, but up the beach there is a lovely cove that is great for swimming, and the pool is perfect for laps or just lounging in. I can't recommend this place enough!"
