  • The perfect place to enjoy Puerto Vallarta!

"We loved this little house in a local neighbourhood of Puerto Vallarta. While it is only 3 blocks from the malacon, it feels like you are miles away from the tourist crowds. The little "tiendas" on almost every corner have almost everything you need and the local veg and meat market is a 15 minute walk. Don't bother going to a supermarket, everything you need is within walking distance, and exploring the neighbourhood is great fun! I will definitely stay here again on our next trip to P.V."

  • Family fun in PV

"We had a fantastic one-week stay in Puerto Vallarta thanks in large part to the great facilities in our Bay View Grand penthouse, where we enjoyed wonderful dinners on the expansive terrace while taking in the inspiring view. Our group was composed of two families and included three kids ranging in age from 11-14. The condo was plenty comfortable for all of us, and the amazing array of infinity pools was a big hit with young and mature alike. I think we took a dip every single day of our stay. The condo complex is large but did not feel crowded, partly because it is spread out over seven buildings but also because the connecting pools cover so much space. There are also two tennis courts and a well-appointed gym for those who want to do more than just lay by the pool. You could also play on the beach just beyond the pool, and we went body-surfing one day, but the water is not nearly as clear as in the Caribbean, so we opted for the pool instead. All the facilities are immaculately clean and supervised by security. One of our favorite activities was taking the 10-15-minute walk to the marina, which offered a variety of restaurants and shops, as well as a lively outdoor market on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We must have gone four or five times altogether. We also ventured out to less-touristy areas, including a nearby town called El Pitillal where we found some terrific seafood markets, countless shops and a plaza where they sell homemade tamales early in the morning (till 9) and in the afternoon starting around 6. You won't find them anytime in between. It takes a $5 cab ride to get to the town. Of course, we also explored Puerto Vallarta and all its wonders, including a casual restaurant called Mariscos El Guero where they make some of the best fish ceviche and smoked marlin you'll ever taste. In our PV meanderings we discovered an excellent tequila called Arrete that's not imported to the U.S. It was smooth as silk and cost just $11 for a bottle of the anejo. It was terrific find, and one of the many pleasures of our vacation. A special shout-out to Fernando, the property manager, for his prompt service on our requests -- particularly the deliveries of bottled water -- and to owner Steve Roberts for his easy accessibility and willingness to honestly answer all our questions. They helped make our trip a memorable experience."

  • Amazing House For Large Group!

"We had 10 people (4 couples and 2 individual friends) stay at this house for 3 nights. We were coming to Puerto Vallarta for a wedding. This house was amazing and better than any of us expected based on the pictures. There were plenty of rooms all over the house, so people could be near each other if they wanted or more secluded if that was their preference. The upstairs rooms were all next to each other, but some of the rooms on the bottom levels had private entrances. One room even had a separate kitchen downstairs. The private pool outside with the bar area was very nice to hang out by during the day. The house had 2 large doors that led out to the pool with a large dining area and sitting area right inside by the kitchen. Perfect set up for easy access from the pool to the kitchen. The house was supplied with everything you would need including pool towels. When we got there, Luci greeted us with homemade guac and salsa. Luci, was fantastic at keeping the house clean, even arranged for food to be delivered to the house, and made us all breakfast. The house is sort of far up the hill so we originally thought it would be hard to get a taxi. However, Luci left numbers for taxi services, and taxis were able to be there usually within 10 minutes. It's about a 30 minute drive to the main part of Puerto Vallarta, but it was only about $20 each way. I would definitely recommend this house for any large group or even a family. The owner was very prompt in all her responses with any questions we had and made finding the house and checking in very simple. All the instructions were spelled out before we got there. Our group had a great time and the house was perfect for our group."

  • Large 2BR with 2 1/2 bath two short blocks from Basillio Badilo

"This delightful, large condo was just wonderful to stay at. It is very spacious with a large open plan living room with a huge flat panel tv in the Great Room and and another large flat panel on the wall of the MBR. The north facing great room wall is solid glass, floor to ceiling, with two large sliding glass patio doors. The patio runs the length of the MBR and Great Room and is about 30' in length with nice seating. The owner was quick to respond when we had a problem with the washing machine. There is a secluded pool with spa on the ground level complete with showers, bathrooms, a party room with barbecue, and lots of pool cabana type lounge chairs. The only detrimental factor is the loud construction going on around the pool area so there was a lot of costruction noise in the pool area, but much less noticeable in the condo (which is on the 4th floor). But there is construction going on all over Zona Romantica so you just have to deal with it. Our last several stays had construction going on next door so it is not unusual. The kitchen was stocked with condiments, pots pans, glassware, etc. We would stay there again in a heart beat!"
