  • Great little condo on the beach

"It is difficult to find a place to stay with four kids without getting two hotel rooms. This condo was perfect for our little family, not to mention a great price! There was plenty of room and everything was just like in the picture. We loved sitting out on the balcony to eat our breakfast and just look at the ocean. The kids enjoyed the pool and the beach. We wish we'd brought a cooler so we could have cold drinks for the kids down at the pool. The mid-week cleaning service was a nice bonus. If you have trouble with the wi-fi be sure to contact the manager. We ended up paying $30 to use the hotel wifi for the week, but I'm sure they would have taken care of it if we had contacted them. Also, just beware of the people in the hotel offering you "coupons" and trying to get you to commit to going to a presentation. They will reassure you repeatedly that it's not a timeshare. What it is instead is a "vacation club membership" where you pay thousands of dollars for a "discount". Don't waste your vacation time sitting in a high-pressure sales meeting unless you at least know what you are getting yourself into. We paid for the all-inclusive for one day and really didn't feel it was worth it. The area is full of great places to eat just a short walk away and we enjoyed getting out to explore, not to mention the condo has a great little kitchen and there is a grocery store right down the road. It's also a quick taxi or bus ride to the downtown, which we really enjoyed."

  • Unbelievable Condo

"Our first time to Puerto Vallarta and of course our first time at Peninsula Towers. This condo is unbelievable... views are outstanding, the condo is very clean and has all the things you need in a great kitchen, laundry room (new washer), pool was excellent, security was first class, rules around pool were sufficient, elevator was fast, no waiting and did I mention VIEW. Fireworks most nights. The restaurant across the river had excellent steaks and shrimp, live music and good drinks. The music you can hear from our unit but not loud, usually closed up by 11:00pm. We had a minor problem with one of our guys getting dehydrated and had to call 911. Not only did two paramedics come to our rescue but the doctor came to our unit too. So if you are over 55, help is close. The hospital is only a few blocks away. Our property manager was great, book all your outing thru him, he is very knowledgeable and helpful. We plan to go back next year and hopefully stay 3-4 weeks instead of two. We did not need the air conditioner the entire two weeks, the daytime temp. were around 80-85 but the breeze thru all the patio doors was actually cool. Richard and Aimee were great with all my questions and gave recommendations on all the great restaurants. If you want a great vacation connect with this rental!"

  • Spring Break for Grandchildren

"My wife and I took our two daughters, one son in law and four grandchildren (total 9) to this condo for the children's spring break. We are from Canada and my wife and I have visited Mexico numerous times. The condo was just as advertised and met our every expectation. Paloma, one of the concierges, who looks after the property met us when we arrived and helped us several times during our stay. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and eating in and we walked to nearby restaurants about half the time. The pools were great and each one is heated to a different temperature depending on what you feel like that day. Food from the restaurant on site was good and a nice treat on lazy afternoons. I hope the owners will continue to encourage the cleaning staff to leave unopened, unused items left by departing guests for the use by the new arriving guests. This helped us with some basics and some of the spices that were used for cooking. We left unopened liquor and such when we departed and hoped the new guests would see it as a welcoming gift. Especially the wine. Our children's spring break coincided with the Easter week in Mexico and the beach out front of the resort was busy, especially on the weekend. A lot of hustle and bustle with some noisy times if you were on the beach. We enjoyed the kiosks set up by the locals on the beach and the kids liked a lot of the activities. Some noise at night but if you turn on the fans in the bedrooms they acted well as white noise to help you fall asleep. Even the restaurant beside us who had bands seemed to close it's doors early for some reason. All in all, I would recommend this property to others. Lots of room and close to all the amenities."

  • "Another great stay in PV"

"I travel to PV at least once a year. This time we decided to stay in a private condo vs a mega resort. We loved this place ! Million dollar view and private. Just a few steps to the beach. The location is more than perfect and it has easy access to public transportation. Taxis are waiting at the entrance or there is parking available if you are renting a car. This is an old building, but this condo has been fully renovated, it is contemporary and comfortable. Kitchen is small, but well equipped to be able to prepare a good meal with fresh shrimp from the city market and a frozen margarita, which we did only one day, since there are many restaurants offering an outstanding gastronomic experience. Staff was very efficient and always happy to help. Heidi, Thank you for renting your amazing apartment. The pictures do not do justice by far. Your place is amazing. Service wonderful. Cannot ask for a better vacation. Thank you and cannot wait to go back."
