  • Spectacular New Year's Eve at Casa Mimi

"The condo was great, with a spectacular view of Banderas Bay. The two queen beds were sufficient for the four of us. There was an extra air mattress on standby, just in case we needed it. Only one bedroom with the two beds, but the view from the living room and kitchen combination opening up to the balcony is just amazing. The layout of the apartment is such that you have full view of the ocean from the bedroom, and full view of the bay from the living room. We were met at check-in by a representative who helped us check in and showed us around the apartment. The owner is very pleasant to work with and very accommodating. The property is part of the Sunscape Resort, with a full schedule of activities, if you wish to take part. We participated in some activities, but we spent most of our time enjoying the beach and the view under a palapa. We did not opt for the all-inclusive (available any day you want it for additional $50 per person). On the first day we walked to Soriana (grocery store) and stocked up. Since we were loaded we took a cab back to the resort (50 pesos, less than $3). This took care of our breakfasts, lunches and refreshments. We went out to dinner at a different restaurant every night. Ruby recommended some good ones, and some we found on our own. One day we took a bus from the property to the Malecon. It was fun. We took cabs the other times, mostly around $5 for the four of us to everywhere we went. The four of us on the bus was less than $2 total. Everyone enjoyed the trip and is looking forward to returning in the near future."

  • A little piece of heaven in the center of it all!

"This was an amazing experience all the way around! Working with Chris, the Owner, was quick and efficient and he created a great information package that really told us everything from how to turn on the TV to how to work the stove!! This condo is breathtaking...the view from all the balconies gives you a complete picture from the ocean in front to the beautiful mountains of Puerto Vallarta. Sitting on the balcony with coffee and breakfast was our morning tradition as we watched the boats, the whales, and the dolphins, as well as the great skydivers that landed right in front of us on the beach!!! Leslie, one of the concierge team, did all our grocery shopping before we arrived for only $25. So once we got there, all we had to do was make a margarita and relax! The Peninsula is located about half way between the marina and downtown, so a $5 cab will take you to some of the best dining in Mexico. The pool spans three towers, and there are ample loungers for you to relax and enjoy the elevated view without the beach vendors bothering you. There is even a small café on site that will serve you at the pool with the best margaritas and shrimp tacos we have ever had!!! Kristal, another concierge, was always at the door eager to make reservations, help us plan trips, or simply call a cab. She was awesome! The condo has all you need from beach towels, to great cooking supplies, to even Dove soap in the bathrooms! The beds are very comfortable with nice sheets, and housekeeping will come every other day to tidy up--they are not intrusive and very polite and friendly. The décor is tasteful and well kept, and there are two nice loungers, a seating area, and a dining table for 6 on the balcony--all of that was lovely and well used during our visit. We love The Peninsula, and this by far, is my favorite view from one of the condos. Thank you Chris for an amazing and memorable vacation and for sharing your special PV home!!"

  • Wow. Excellent Condo, Beautiful vacation location, Owner is terrific to work with

"We rented this Condo Jan 3-31, 2017, and loved it. The Owner, Luis, is a pleasure to work with. He lives nearby, and between Luis and his Property Manager, our stay was completely problem free. We look forward to coming back next year. We were impressed with the high quality of all the appliances- ice-maker/water dispensing fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher, and full-size washer & dryer. As well, the dishes, pots, pans, utensils, plates, etc were plentiful and of very good quality. We have rented smaller suites at the Grand Venetian since 2009, and this was the first year we had a need for 3 + bedrooms, and the space in Luis’ Condo was wonderful for our whole family. The huge, leather sectional couch is so comfortable! I also wish to note that the entire Grand Venetian facility has been really well cared for, with obviously lots of money spent on maintenance, as it looks as good as it did in 2009. There are 5 swimming pools to pick from, and they are maintained at different temperatures. The pool by Tower 2000, for example, is too warm for my liking, but it is clearly set that way, as it has been just as warm every year we have been vacationing here. The pools are perfect for kids, with great big shallow areas to play in. In all, a great place. We highly recommend this rental from Luis."

  • Connie & Terry

"We just returned from staying in Herman and Cristian's amazing condominium. Wow it is so beautiful, and our home for the week felt like a grand luxury suite. It really felt like stepping into a magazine cover. The pictures you see are true plus it is perfectly outfitted with everything one might need to cook, entertain or even throw wet beach towels and suits in the wash. We loved being beside the little river and listening to the music and ending our day in total comfort on the balcony. The lighting in this unit is so romantic. We had to leave to come home to Canada but we loved it so much we booked it for a whole month next year!"
