  • Romantic vacation stay

"This condo has everything: great location, well maintained property right on the beach, kitchen with every amenity one wants on a vacation, patio with dining table, really comfortable bed, AC for hot nights, and a most helpful staff. Kristin is friendly, helpful, easy to communicate with, and willing to be there for you. Pools on property are lovely with lots of room and tons of chairs. The little bistro serves up great food with excellent service. We loved it all!"

  • Nima Bay Condo

"The Nima Bay Condo were excellent. All appliances work as they should have. The décor was beautiful. The security and pool were top notch. Suggestions needs a higher capacity washer and dryer; the refrigerator need to be bigger should you ever want to sell these would be two of the improvement I would want done before I would buy."

  • Surpassed our Expectations

"Our family just came back from a 12 day stay in this apartment. Here’s the Good and the Bad: The Good: We were met at the airport by Cesar, sent by Bonnie to pick us up, and then greeted at the apartment by Teresita, who we assume works for the company which manages the 5 building Shangri La complex. The apartment is very tastefully designed, with comfortable furniture. Often a weak spot in other vacation rentals, the beds here were particularly comfortable. The size of the apartment allowed our adult children to each have their own bedroom and bathroom, a factor which helped all to enjoy the time spent there. The views from the apartment were nothing short of spectacular, the pool, gardens, beach, the bay and the mountains in the background. In a complex where the positioning of the other buildings could result in a lack of privacy, being exposed to viewing from surrounding buildings, the “B” side of building 2 enjoys more privacy than most, an unexpected benefit. There are 5 HD TVs in the apartment, a 32” in each bedroom and a larger screen in the living room. The complex has a poolside restaurant with a swim-up bar. The food was surprisingly good and quite inexpensive. If we ever needed a taxi, a call from the “house phone” in the kitchen to the front gate security person resulted in a taxi being sent to our building that was often there waiting for us before we ever got to the lobby. The staff at the Shangri La was a significant factor in our enjoyment of the place. If you needed anything in the apartment, it did not take any more than to call or email Teresita or Juan, the building concierge. They could not do enough for us. If there was ever a question, an email to Bonnie resulted in her emailing someone on the Shangri La staff and things were done quickly. Bonnie showed great concern that her renters were well taken care of. The security of the building also deserves mention. When we came home by taxi in the evening, once the taxi was inside the outer gates, a security person routinely biked to our building, getting there a few seconds ahead of the taxi, to open the taxi door for us, and then to ensure that the taxi left the grounds after we had gotten out. There were also security people walking the grounds at night. In all, a very safe feeling. The Bad: Having to leave at the end of 12 days."
